DELIVERING AADHAAR SERVICES

AADHAAR ENABLED SERVICES:
UIDAI has provided guidelines to various ministries and departments, banks and other
organizations to define mechanisms and processes for interlinking UID with their
databases on a continuous basis and defining usage and applicability of UID for delivery
of various services. Under the initiative, various Aadhaar-based services are provided
through CSC by leveraging Aadhaar for better governance, accountability and delivery of
services. Other services delivered through PECs are as follows:
• Seeding of Aadhaar with Bank customer databases and also with various departmental
databases
• E-Aadhaar Print; Plastic Aadhaar Card Printing
• BFD (Best Finger Detection)
• E-KYC & Authentication Service
• BC Services : Bank Account Opening , On Us/Off us AEPS (Micro ATM)
AADHAAR CARD PRINTING (PLASTIC AADHAAR
CARD):
As per UIDAI notification, all CSCs have been extended with a facility to
print Plastic Aadhaar Cards leveraging e-KYC. Accordingly, 3,765 CSCs
have delivered PVC Aadhaar Card service across 27 States & UTs in
May 2016. During the period from April 2015 to May 2016, 34,04,910
PVC Aadhaar Cards have been printed through the CSC network.

G2C ONLINE PVC AADHAAR CARD
(CASH ON DELIVERY):
Citizens can now order Aadhaar PVC Card online
and get it delivered at their doorstep. The Aadhaar
card will be printed on a PVC card after validating
the resident’s identity via OTP and retrieving her/his
e-KYC from UIDAI.
