<strong>AADHAAR</strong> SEEDING:<br />
Aadhaar seeding is a process by which the Aadhaar number of residents are included in<br />
the database of service providers for enabling Aadhaar-based authentication during service<br />
delivery, i,e. linking of Aadhaar number to beneficiary ID. The objective is not to replace the<br />
currently used unique identifier of the customers/ residents/ beneficiaries with Aadhaar.<br />

by CSC e-Governance:<br />
The UIDAI allows ASAs to perform demographic authentication on all consented users. The<br />
Demographic Authentication Service does not send information<br />
about the user. It only validates the given information and responds<br />
with whether the information matches with its database or not.<br />
Biometric Aadhaar Seeding Framework:<br />
There is a need to match the database of UIDAI with other database<br />
like NHM/PDS etc for each beneficiary before it gets finally seeded<br />
within the departmental database. The verification is carried out by<br />
leveraging e-KYC phenomenon within the CSC network as follows:<br />
