Jeremiah 2:5NEV …
“What fault did your ancestors find in me that they strayed so far from me?
They followed worthless idols and became worthless themselves.” It continues
to say in Vs. 27 “They say to a wood, ‘You are my father,’ and to a stone,
‘You gave me birth.’ They have turned their backs to me and not their faces;
yet when they are in trouble, they say, ‘Come and save us!’ Where then are
the gods you made for yourselves? Let them come if they can save you
when you are in trouble!
The enemy knows that you cannot serve two Gods and therefore maximises in tradition
so you can serve the other gods while you also believe that you are serving
God.
There are different types of traditions that humans adhere to. If you are born of a
Jewish family you follow a Jewish tradition; Muslim you follow a Muslim tradition; African
you follow an African tradition as defined by your tribe. There are now also different
types of traditions in a form of secret societies and cults, which are traditions
practised by certain circles and in some churches. Most traditions are of the power
of marine spirits.
Before you become comfortable following any tradition, ask questions and be sure
that its methods are exactly according to those that the bible tells you of. Some traditions
will use the bible to their own advantage to lieu people into it but there are
always certain questionable methods that they will follow that are not according to
the bible. Be sure to know what the bible says about any law they tell you to follow.
If it is not according to Christ, it is of the enemy. God does not operate where the
enemy operates. Make your choice wisely.
The enemy’s aim is to push you away from God by making you follow a tradition
that is not of Christ, a tradition that makes you serve other gods. In this instance you
then become party to its hands. Bad things will happen to you that you cannot entirely
get yourself out of. It opens doors for you to be a victim of darkness. This is how
your blessings are stolen, your soul is killed and your life is destroyed.
The Spirit of God, the light is always there for you to tap into. It is the only thing that
can free you completely from the power of darkness, when your spirit is joined with
that of Christ.
