Grade 6 Camp at<br />
Drakensville<br />
The Grade 6 boys of <strong>2017</strong> went off<br />
to the Environmental Centre situated<br />
in Drakensville. The trip was a<br />
long one, but well worth it.<br />
Upon arrival the boys were welcomed<br />
by the camp facilitators and<br />
guided through the week’s program.<br />
The boys had lunch and went<br />
off to the dam where they zip-lined<br />
and built a boat, in their various<br />
teams to cross the dam.<br />
The tour was filled with various<br />
activities such as paintball, abseiling,<br />
archery, star march, stalk the lantern,<br />
water and forest study, hike,<br />
foofie slidem, raft building and an<br />
obstacle course.<br />
GRADE 6<br />
The boys were well behaved and<br />
had a lot of fun, they were respectful<br />
and represented the school<br />
well. The team building activities<br />
were outstanding and these boys<br />
are a very talented group.<br />
