Yamaha Motor Pakistan
launches new YB125Z
Yamaha Motor Pakistan announced
the launch of their new model
YB125Z at its launch ceremony in
Lahore recently. Yamaha Motor
Pakistan re-started its motorcycle
business in Pakistan 2 years ago with
the introduction of YBR125 &
YBR125G. After successful
acceptance of YBR series especially
among youth, Yamaha Motor always
feels to introduce a model which
would cater every common
motorcycle users in Pakistan and
today's introduction of YB125Z is the
perfect answer to that.
The model itself is equipped with
features like new longer and wider
size seat , engine balancer to reduce
vibration, powerful headlight halogen
lamp, self-starter and gear indication
on meter and all this equipped
features at a very affordable price tag
of Rs.115,900/- and this model will be
available in the market from middle of
April 2017.
Speaking at the occasion Mr.

Manager of Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd.
(Japan) tells that Pakistan is now 5th
largest motorcycle market in the
world, and we are looking Pakistan as
huge potential market. And we want
to establish our presence in 125 cc
standard segment in Pakistan.
Also speaking on occasion Mr.
Shigeru Ishikawa, Managing
Director of Yamaha Motor Pakistan,
highlighted YB125Z as new weapon
to cut into mass segment, and we
have big confidence in our new
product and it's a time for us
“entering the next stage” so our
v a l u e d c u s t o m e r s c a n n o w
“experience the real”. He also
reemphasizes that Yamaha Pakistan
is aiming 100,000 units sales in
coming years and YB125Z will play
an important part to achieve our
target.

network of more than 200 sales
outlets and 500 after-sales shops to
cater the needs of Yamaha customers
in Pakistan and this new model
YB125Z is also be presented to all the
dealers of Yamaha who gathered in
Lahore from all corners of Pakistan.

Tractor, truck sales jump
in July-February
Tractor and truck sales jumped 80 and
46 percent, respectively, during the last
eight months of the current financial
year (July 2016 to February 2017), a
monthly report by Pakistan Automotive
Manufacturers Association
(PAMA) said recently.
The data showed tractor
sales in the period under
review jumped to 31,955
Speaking on the occasion, Yasser
Abbas said “Based on the success of
our initial agreement executed in
April, 2016, we feel that this
extension is a milestone for both the
organizations and for the customers,
who will be able to Drive their Dream
Car, the most Convenient way via
BankIslami's Islami Auto Finance.”
Nadeem Azam added: “This initiative
has created an ideal scenario for both
BankIslami and Honda Atlas Cars
(Pakistan) Limited. With extension of
units against 17,772 units in the same
period last year. The truck sales rose to
4,677 units in the period, compared to
3,194 units sold last year, while 765
buses were sold against 609 units
during the corresponding period a year
ago.
A total of 121,275 cars were sold
during this period, down 0.54 percent,
against 121,934 units in the same
period last year.

exclude Bolan Production figure in
car sales.
