launches new YB125Z<br />
Yamaha Motor Pakistan announced<br />
the launch of their new model<br />
YB125Z at its launch ceremony in<br />
Lahore recently. Yamaha Motor<br />
Pakistan re-started its motorcycle<br />
business in Pakistan 2 years ago with<br />
the introduction of YBR125 &<br />
YBR125G. After successful<br />
acceptance of YBR series especially<br />
among youth, Yamaha Motor always<br />
feels to introduce a model which<br />
would cater every common<br />
motorcycle users in Pakistan and<br />
today's introduction of YB125Z is the<br />
perfect answer to that.<br />
The model itself is equipped with<br />
features like new longer and wider<br />
size seat , engine balancer to reduce<br />
vibration, powerful headlight halogen<br />
lamp, self-starter and gear indication<br />
on meter and all this equipped<br />
features at a very affordable price tag<br />
of Rs.115,900/- and this model will be<br />
available in the market from middle of<br />
<strong>April</strong> <strong>2017</strong>.<br />

(Japan) tells that Pakistan is now 5th<br />
largest motorcycle market in the<br />
world, and we are looking Pakistan as<br />
huge potential market. And we want<br />
to establish our presence in 125 cc<br />
standard segment in Pakistan.<br />

Director of Yamaha Motor Pakistan,<br />
highlighted YB125Z as new weapon<br />
to cut into mass segment, and we<br />
have big confidence in our new<br />
product and it's a time for us<br />
“entering the next stage” so our<br />
v a l u e d c u s t o m e r s c a n n o w<br />
“experience the real”. He also<br />
reemphasizes that Yamaha Pakistan<br />
is aiming 100,000 units sales in<br />
coming years and YB125Z will play<br />
an important part to achieve our<br />

Tractor, truck sales jump<br />
in July-February<br />
Tractor and truck sales jumped 80 and<br />
46 percent, respectively, during the last<br />
eight months of the current financial<br />
year (July 2016 to February <strong>2017</strong>), a<br />
monthly report by Pakistan Automotive<br />
Manufacturers Association<br />
(PAMA) said recently.<br />
The data showed tractor<br />
sales in the period under<br />
review jumped to 31,955<br />
Speaking on the occasion, Yasser<br />
Abbas said “Based on the success of<br />
our initial agreement executed in<br />
<strong>April</strong>, 2016, we feel that this<br />
extension is a milestone for both the<br />
organizations and for the customers,<br />

Nadeem Azam added: “This initiative<br />
has created an ideal scenario for both<br />
BankIslami and Honda Atlas Cars<br />
(Pakistan) Limited. With extension of<br />
units against 17,772 units in the same<br />
period last year. The truck sales rose to<br />
4,677 units in the period, compared to<br />
3,194 units sold last year, while 765<br />
buses were sold against 609 units<br />
during the corresponding period a year<br />
ago.<br />
A total of 121,275 cars were sold<br />
during this period, down 0.54 percent,<br />
against 121,934 units in the same<br />
period last year.<br />
