START OF ACT #1
EXT. DREAM WORLD - AFTERNOON
We DOLLY out from the fog of a cloud to reveal a large field
that stretches for miles as well as some mountains on the
horizon.
As the last of the clouds dissipate we pan over to reveal a
large settlement in the center of the large field. We
continue to move towards the settlement the closer we get
the more we can see it abandoned and destroyed the camera
descends into the settlement looking at the carnage and ruin
of the town. Narrator begins as we slowly dolly through the
destroyed streets.
NARATOR
Everyone has a dream. Whether they know it or not everyone
wants something. Some want power, land and prestige. Others
want love and happiness. People will do anything to have
their dreams realized, those who chase their dreams are
counted as misguided fools who aren’t content with reality.
I myself succumbed to my own foolish dream of peace. I
thought that that others would respect that simple dream of
peace, but the funny thing about dreams are no one ever
cares about your dreams until they start interfering with
their own. I only wish I had the power to put my dreams into
reality, Alas that power reserved for God, but I have to
wonder if God Dreams himself?
We TILT up to see a hooded robed figure above the town
floating silently face obscured by the cloak.
INT. CLASS ROOM (NORMAL WORLD)- AFTERNOON
It’s a small classroom of with twenty high schools students
in neat rows. The teacher is lecturing about history of the
Indians and the Great Plaines of America. Wendall is seated
in the back of the class room eyes glazed over lost in
thought. The teacher notices him and stop the lesson and
wait for Wendall to notice. When he doesn’t snap out of it
the teacher then calls on Wendall to answer her question.
TEACHER
Wendall will could you please tell
the class the ideology that drove
westward expansion? Or where you to

TEACHER (CONT'D)
busy daydreaming again?
WENDALL
No ma'am I was just thinking about
how it must have been for the
settlers paving there own path in a
new and undiscoved world.
TEACHER
Your dogging the question Wendall I
didn’t ask you what you thought
about the settlers I asked you for
the ideology behind there expansion
west.
Before Wendall could answer the bell rang dismissing the
class. Wendall was gathering his thing but before he could
go his teacher called him over.
TEACHER
Wendall can I please have a moment
with you.
WENDALL
Can it wait Mrs. T I want to go
home and...
TEACHER
No Wendall this issue must be
addressed first. Wendall I’m
concerned for your academic well
being this is the the fifth time
this period you’ve just gone off to
La’la land and missed important
material.
WENDALL
I know Mrs. T but I cant help it,
one second I’m listening to one of
your “amazing” lectures and the
next I’m clocked out.
TEACHER
Wendall I'm serous you may have
been able to scrape by last
semester, but I’m not so sure your
goanna be able to keep this up,
being clever only get you so far if
you truly want to succeed you need
real knowledge.

WENDALL
Sure Mrs. T whatever you say.
TEACHER
Don’t give me that sarcastic
attitude one day you’ll learn you
can’t just wing it all the time.
Anyway please give this form to
your parents, it’s the information
for your next IEP meeting have them
sign and get it back to me tomorrow
ok?
WENDALL
Sure thing Mrs. T thanks for your
concern I'll see ya tomorrow.
DISSOLVE TO
EXT. DREAM WORLD - NIGHT
We find ourselves in a open Field that stretches as far as
the horizon here Wendall sits in robes hood down in front of
him is a campfire.
WENDALL
Why does it matter whether or not I
pay attention in class when am I
ever going to need to know the
ideology behind westward expansion?
I wish Mrs. T would get off my back
about zoning out in class it not
like I can help it.
Wendell is pulled form his thoughts by the his mother who’s
been trying to get his attention.
CUT TO:
INT WENDALLS HOUSE (DINNING ROOM) - NIGHT
Wendall is sitting in the dinning room table with both his
parents.
MOTHER
Wendall I've been calling your name
for the past few minutes are you
ok?
WENDALL
What? Oh ya I'm fine
FATHER
Got something on your mind?

WENDALL
What makes you say that?
FATHER
You always zone out whenever your
thinking about something it's like
you become a hollow shell.
MOTHER
Don't say it like that you'll make
him feel bad.
FATHER
You know what I mean it's like
you've...
WENDALL
Clocked out?
FATHER
Ya like you're brain's clocked out
and left your body behind.
MOTHER
Charlie! I asked you to stop he
cant help it you know what the
doctor said, it normal for kids
with ADD to get lost in their
heads.
FATHER
Ya I know I know I. It just seems
his little mental expeditions take
him longer than most.
MOTHER
That's just because he's smart he's
got a lot of thoughts to get lost
in.
WENDALL
Come on Mom I'm not some genius I
just space out form time to time no
big deal.
MOTHER
Even so just because you zone out
doesn't mean your not smart.
WENDALL
I know Mom thank you. May I'm going
take care of some home work for

WENDALL (CONT'D)
school tomorrow.
FADE IN
INT WENDALLS HOUSE (HIS ROOM)- NIGHT
Wendall walks into his room. Tosses his back pack onto his
bed and takes a seat at his desk. He turns on his computer
and load up his favorite strategy game. He calls his friend
he met over the internet and joins the game.
WENDALL
Hey Boe you ready to pick up where
we left off?
BOE
Ready when you are, just send me
the invite.
WENDALL
Sure thing one sec.
BOE
So how's your day been going? Mines
been pretty sucky.
WENDALL
It could be better got caught by my
teacher again.
BOE
Again! That's like the hundredth
time. What she say?
WENDALL
She told me to try harder you know
good old Mrs. T where anything is
possible if you just try!
BOE
Still ever think about getting meds
my brother has ADD and the Doc gave
him some pills...
WENDALL
Already tried that.
BOE
Really and it did nothing?

WENDALL
Not a thing. If anything it made it
worst.
BOE
Wow that's unlivable where do you
go I mean what do you think of?
WENDALL
Ussually nothing its just like
sleeping with your eyes open. But
recently I've started to have these
daydreams where I'm in this grassy
hills with these weird abandoned
towns.
BOE
Weird. Hey games started.
WENDALL
Sweet your going down this time.
BOE
We'll see about that.
Fast forward to the end of their game.
WENDALL
I told you I'd beat you.
BOE
I cant believe you'd sacrificed
your own troops just to gain the
advantage that's just wrong.
WENDALL
Gotta do what you gotta do. Besides
there not real its not like I
actually sacrificed people.
BOE
True it was still a cheesy way to
win.
WENDALL
Whatever a wins a win. I've got to
go I'll talk to you tomorrow.
BOE
Sure thing Night.

WENDALL

EXT. WALK TO SCHOOL - MORNING
Wendalls on his way to school as he rounds the corner he
meets up with his friend Alexis. They walk together for a
while.
ALEXIS
You ready for the big test in
English class today?
WENDALL
(Panicked)
No I totally forgot about that!
What am I going to do.
(looks at Alexis
pleadingly)
Please you have to let me borrow
your notes at lunch.
ALEXIS
(Sternly)
No I need them to study but I can
give you a quick rundown of what to
expect on the test.
WENDALL
(Relived)
O thank you Lex what would I do
without you.
Fail
ALEXIS
WENDALL
You don't have to be so blunt
ALEXIS
I'm just teasing. Anyway the topic
of the test is morals.
Morals?
WENDALL
ALEXIS
That's right morals. Specifically
morals that have to deal with

power.
WENDALL
I don't follow.
ALEXIS (CONT'D)
ALEXIS
It's the principle does might equal
right. If you have power and
control does that also mean you
have power and control over what's
right and what's wrong.
WENDALL
Well no just because you have the
power doesn't mean you have the
right to call whatever you want
right.
ALEXIS
True but heres another one if you
have the power does that also mean
you have the duty to act?
WENDALL
Of course not if just because you
have power doesn't mean you're
obligated to act its up to whomever
has the power.
ALEXIS
Everything you've said is true but
the tricky thing about morals is it
really only true to you. You cant
force your morals onto someone else
just like they cant force them onto
you.
WENDALL
Ya but people still do.
ALEXIS
No people force there ideals on
others how they interpret those
ideals and carry them out are the
basis for their morals.
WENDALL
You know sometimes you can be quite
scary.
ALEXIS
(Peeved)

ALEXIS (CONT'D)
WENDALL
You casually bring up these heavy
topics as if you were discussing
the weather.
ALEXIS
I don't think that makes me scary.
WENDALL
Maybe scary isn't the right word
maybe...
A genius?
ALEXIS
WENDALL
No more like...
ALEXIS
Know it all?
WENDALL
No not that either your more wise.
ALEXIS
(giggling)
Wise ok father Wemdall
WENDALL
No I'm not kidding being smart is
one thing anyone can memorize
things but only the wise can take
that knowlage and apply it to
themselves.
ALEXIS
Alright whatever we better pick up
the pace before you get written up
again.
WENDALL
You're right lets book it
INT CLASS ROOM - MORNING
CUT TO:
Wendall walks into his first period class Ligature. He walks
to his normal front row seat but find it already occupied.
He heads to the back of the room and finds a desk. The
teacher walks in and sets herself up unpacking a large stack

of books onto her podium.
TEACHER 2
Alright everyone today we will be
reading shake spear grab your books
and begin reading on page 269.
The whole class lets out a groan and one by one they grab a
book. Wendall is the last to get his book.
Before turning for his desk he catches the eye of boy who
had taken his seat. His eyes were cold and hostile like that
of a bird of prey. Wendall returned to his seat and began to
read the pages of the sake spear. As he sat and read he
could feel himself about to drift into a daydream. Before he
drifted off he read to himself "O God, O God, how weary,
stale, flat, and unprofitable seem to me all the uses of
this world!" before finally slipping into his daydream.
EXT. DREAM WORLD - MORNING
FADE IN
Wendell awoke suspended in the air. Clothed in a flowing
orange and white robe he gently descended through the
clouds. As he cleared the clouds he saw two huge masses
moving across the field kicking up a large dust cloud in its
wake.
As Wendell got closer to the ground the mass started to look
less like one massive entity and instead many tiny little
dots moving in unison.
WENDALL
(TO HIMSELF)
Strange this day dream is more unusual but I’m not
complaining.
Wendall was finally only a few hundred feet from the ground
and he could now clearly see that the two masses were two
armies.
WENDALL
I used to have dreams like this
when I would stay up late playing
Empires of War with Boe this is
awesome.
Wendall watched and waited to see how the battle would turn
out.

EXT. DREAM WORLD - CONTINUOUS
The two armies faced each other on the battle field howling
and shouting at one another.
The two generals of the two apossing armies met in the
middle to exchange words and respects for the enemies.
General Ronnoc of the Eagle Empire rode in on a horse drawn
chariot. As he dismounted his horse his armored boots made a
thunderous boom kicking up the loose dirt around him. He
walked over to the makeshift table they were using as a
meeting ground. He waited for the chief of the fox clan to
appear.
After a short while the Chief of the fox clan arrived on his
own horse and while not nearly as large as the Eagle
gerneral he was still a figure he wore light leather armor
and made his way swiftly to the table.
RONNOC
Your late.
CHIEF
Indeed I am I wanted to make sure
it wasn't a trap can't be to
careful these days.
RONNOC
Are you questioning my honnor as a
general?
CHIEF
Not at all but as you know honor is
a forgotten practice that only few
still hold onto.
RONNOC
Very well shall we get this
underway.
CHIEF
Before we do I have a quesrion.
RONNOC
And I might have an answer.
CHIEF
Why invade now? Your country is
experiencing a period of property
and peace why would you wage war I
just cant wrap my head around it?

RONNOC
The wishes of my supirors isnt
known to me all I am is an
instrument in which to carry out
their will.
CHIEF
So you're nothing more than a
puppet. How sad you eagles must be
always suppressed by rules and
regulations.
RONNOC
You fox people are lawless and
savages. You have no organized
structure and little to no
desernable culture. Discussing
CHIEF
Our ways may seem strange to you an
outsider but I assure you that
their is no freer nation in all the
world.
Ronnoc Draws his sword.
Chief Draws his sword.
RONNOC
Shall we complete the ritual.
We Shall
CHIEF
Ronnoc places his sword on the table.
Chief then places his sword atop Ronnoc's.
RONNOC
I Ronnoc General of The Kings
Magnificent soaring armies raise my
countries banner against the
savages of the fox caln.
CHIEF
And I 23rd Cheiftein of the Fox
clan accept your challenge and
wishes you well for you will most
certainly fail.
Ronnoc takes the Chiefs sword.
Chief takes Ronnoc sword.

RONNOC
May the victor reclaim his sword
and take the others as proof of his
victory.
CHIEF
I will see you on the battle field
General
RONNOC
You better pray to your God you
don't
Both generals leave the center to return to thier armies to
deliver their rallying speeches.
EXT. DREAM WORLD ABOVE THE BATTLE FIELD - MORNING
Wendall look out at the armies with impatience.
WENDALL
How much longer are they going to
stand around when will they fight.
Wendall then thought to himself.
WENDALL
If this is my day dream maybe I can
influence it to make the fighting
start sooner.
Wendall began to concentrate and storm clouds began to form
around him.
WENDALL
Perhaps we can make this more
interesting by adding a few weather
hazards.
He then began to concentrate even harder and as his mind
raced with ideas they slowly began to take shape.
Tornadoes began to rage long extinct lava shafts reopened
spilling fire and rock onto the battle field.
WENDALL
(Laughing with delight)
This is amazing who knew
daydreaming could prove to be so
entertaining.

Fire and rocks continued to rain form the sky and the
lighting and tornadoes only intensified destroying the
armies formation and casing each of them to seek cover and
shelter from the apocolptic events that were unfolding.
EXT. DREAM WORLD BATTLE FEILD - MORNING
Ronnoc armies where in a state of panic unsure of how these
events where even possible he went to find the only man he
knew who would have some sense of what's going on.
Ronnoc Rode like a mad man despetly trying to find the chief
of the fox clan.
The chief was in awe on his knees in the middle of the
battle field tears rolling down his face.
Ronnoc quickly dismounted and grabbed him by the scruff of
his loose armor.
RONNOC
What the hell is going on Fox what
is with this crazy weather.
Its him
CHIEF
RONNOC
It's who? What are you talking
about no one has the power to
change the wether at will.
Its him
CHEIF
RONNOC
Im getting sick and tiered of
asking you.
Ronnoc pulls out his sword and places it on Chief neck
RONNOC
Im only going to ask this one more
time Fox who is this him you're
talking about.
CHIEF
The wanderer the ancient protector
of our people has come at last. He
is out all powerful God.

RONNOC
God if you think this is the work
of some ooky spooky spirt then
you've got another thing coming.
Ronnoc Sheaths his sword and remounts his horse.
RONNOC
MEN! FULL RETREAT! FALL BACK!
Chief begins praying
CHIEF
O wonderful spirit of old hear your
faithful follower as his sing your
praises and thanks.
The entire fox clan lift thier voices up to the sky.
END OF ACT #1
START OF ACT #2
EXT. DREAM WORLD ABOVE THE BATTLE FIELD
Wendall could not believe his ears.
He began to descend onto the battle field.
WENDALL
(To himself)
I thought this was just a daydream
and Im supposed to be in total
control what going on?
As Wendall landed he was met witht he gory carnage of his
actions never in his life had he ever seen such horendouse
things things he could never imagen.
It hit him like a ton of bricks
WENDALL
(Franticly screeming)
How is this possible how can I
imagine things I've never even seen
what is this place what am I?
Fox clan members form a circle around Wendall and bow and
chant.
The leader Cheif comes up to Wendall.

CHIEF
Our lord Our wonderful savior has
returned after generations of
silence you again appear in out
greatest hour of need. Praise be to
the God of Old The Wandering God.
WENDALL
Wondering God what is all of this
who are you.
Before he could say another word he was back in the class
room pale as a sheet and shivering like a Dog.
Wendall passes out
