FALL <strong>2017</strong> REGiStRAtion Registration continues for the Early Childhood Development Program (ECDP) <strong>2017</strong>-2018 school year. Enrollment has been moving very quickly <strong>and</strong> some classrooms are already full. The JCC of Syracuse <strong>2017</strong>–2018 school year scholarship application deadline is July 17, <strong>2017</strong>. Scholarships are based on income. We appreciate your generosity in helping us make this a successful event! PAREnt tEACHER ConFEREnCES Parent teacher conferences will be held May 8–19. We hope that this second meeting will provide a fascinating <strong>and</strong> fresh look at your child’s growth <strong>and</strong> development through the eyes of another <strong>Summer</strong> Camp <strong>Summer</strong> is a time for fun in the sun <strong>and</strong> swimming! Camp sneak preview ECDP preschoolers will soon be able to experience the fun <strong>and</strong> excitement of summer camp during the school year! May 30 – June 2 is camp sneak preview week during regular morning preschool hours. The children will enjoy a variety of summer camp related arts <strong>and</strong> caring adult—your child’s teacher. Parents attending the conferences will receive a copy of their child’s individual development <strong>and</strong> learning report. If you are unable to attend, please cancel in advance by calling 315-445-2040, ext. 120. AnnUAL BASKEt RAFFLE We’re gearing up for one of our biggest <strong>and</strong> most fun fundraising events of the year! Each classroom will be creating a special themed basket to be raffled off. We ask that each family please bring in an item or two by Friday, June 2 to help fill their basket. The completed baskets will be displayed near the front office. Raffle tickets will be sold from Monday, June 5 through Monday, June 19. Your help in selling tickets to friends <strong>and</strong> family is much appreciated! Tickets cost 1 for $1, 6 for $5, 13 for $10 or 30 for $20. The winners will be drawn on Tuesday, June 20. You do not need to be present to win. End-oF-yEAR CELEBRAtionS We will celebrate the end of the 2016-<strong>2017</strong> school year with the children putting on some special performances. Parents crafts projects, games, outdoor activities <strong>and</strong> special treats. Registration Our summer camp program runs weekly (monthly for infants) from June 26 through August 18. A variety of flexible weekly enrollment options are available. It’s not too late to register! On June 14 the children in classrooms 6, 7 <strong>and</strong> 8 will participate in their “Moving Up Morning” celebration as they perform some special songs. The children in rooms A, B <strong>and</strong> 2 will take center stage on June 19, performing for family <strong>and</strong> friends during the Annual Pre-K Graduation Ceremony.
