Children’s Centre is situated<br />
on Bowbridge Road, Newark,<br />
in the old Oliver Quibell<br />
School site.<br />
The Centre offers families with children of<br />
0-5 years, extra help and support and offers<br />
a range of activities for families including<br />
breast feeding support, play sessions, baby<br />
massage, nutritional sessions, toddler talk,<br />
yoga, weaning support and also supports<br />
partners with local events.<br />
Family support is offered to families with<br />
children 0-12 years. Adult education and<br />
development is also available and courses<br />
such as creative crafts, confidence building,<br />
English and maths are on offer from the<br />
Children’s Centre or through local partners.<br />
A crèche is usually offered for these courses.<br />
The Centre will be delivering a summer<br />
programme of activities running from 22nd<br />
July to 7th September. These sessions will be<br />
open for children aged 0-5 years and older<br />
siblings are welcome. The centre’s outdoor<br />
area will be open weekdays from 9am-4pm.<br />

Stay and Play sessions are for the whole<br />
family to come along and join in with creative<br />
activities, story times and singing times.<br />
A light healthy snack is provided. Sessions are<br />
as follows:-<br />

Father’s Activity Group is a group where all<br />
male carers can come along once a month to<br />
the Oliver Quibell site and enjoy fun activities<br />
with their children. The sessions are as follows:-<br />
Saturday 27th July 10am-12noon<br />
Saturday 28th September 10am-12noon<br />
Saturday 26th October 10am-12noon<br />
Saturday 30th November 10am-12noon<br />
