Visit East Lincolnshire
East Lindsey Live is a calendar of sporting,
heritage and cultural events set to showcase
the district and attract visitors throughout the
summer. Nearly 40 local events will be
complemented by a programme of street
theatre and cultural events in the market
towns. Events include a performance inside a
30ft sleeping pig, Granny Turismo – three
anarchic grandmas with their motorised,
souped-up shopping trolleys equipped with
beat boxes, Bruce Airhead – a metamorphosis
of man and a six foot balloon and Man In A Box
– a giant box which leaps to life, grows legs
and totters off to meet and greet the crowds.
The Embassy Theatre in Skegness is the East
Coast’s premier entertainment venue.
A packed summer line-up awaits visitors with
shows and events to suit all ages. It really is
everything from A to Z – from Adam Ant to Paul
Zerdin. A whole host of stars are set to appear
including Cher Lloyd, Gareth Gates, Joan
Armatrading, Paul Carrack, Premier League
Snooker, Chuckle Brothers, Little Big Club,
Superslam Wrestling, Cannon and Ball, Jim
Davidson, The Comedy Teahouse Comedy Clubs
and Ken Dodd. To complement these events,
the new gallery and coffee bar will feature
a regular programme of exhibitions.
Whether you prefer two wheels or four,
you are sure to enjoy the fast-paced, all
action events at two of Lincolnshire’s
premier racing circuits, Cadwell Park
and Skegness Stadium.
