Legacy Machine Perpetual - reinventing the perpetual calendar
The MB&F Legacy Machine Perpetual recently won a GRAND
PRIX D’HORLOGERIE DE GENEVE – the most prestigious,
coveted prize in the watchmaking world. The award was
the result of a long and merciless selection process by a
respected international jury, which first considered more
than a dozen calendar watches, then nominated a shortlist of
just 6 outstanding finalists, and finally awarded us with their
highest distinction.
As such, MB&F has launched TWO NEW EDITIONS of the
Legacy Machine Perpetual in 18K WHITE GOLD. After last
year’s launch editions in platinum and rose gold, both
limited to 25 pieces and sold out within just a few months,
MB&F is introducing a new 25-piece limited edition in white
gold – instantly recognisable thanks to its striking purple face
– as well as a non-limited edition, also in white gold, with a
more understated dark grey face.
Among other innovations, the Legacy Machine Perpetual
movement is based on a default month of 28 days –
instead of the usual 31 – and is controlled by a patented
“mechanical processor” which adds days only as required.
The result is a robust, fool-proof mechanism that is
also extremely user-friendly, allowing quick and easy
adjustments.
Legacy Machine Perpetual is available in three limited
editions of 25 pieces each in platinum 950 (blue face),
18k red gold (grey face) and 18k white gold (purple face);
and in a non-limited edition in 18k white gold with grey
face. The Hour Glass is the exclusive retailer of MB&F in
