Miyako<br />
Miyako is inspired from my trip to Kyoto, Japan.<br />
The collection derives its name from one of the<br />
ancient names used for Kyoto. The patterns all have<br />
a Japanese influence. The lead design is adapted<br />
from a vintage Japanese kimono fabric. The border<br />
design is double mirror-imaged, which makes it ideal<br />
for fussy cutting and creating kaleidoscope effects<br />
inside blocks. The red & green colorations are ideal<br />
for holiday inspired projects. I also included some<br />
great neutrals, taupes and rich browns, which can be<br />
used to create a more masculine themed quilt.<br />
