GOLF TOURNAMENT HOSTED BY HOUSTON
LIGHTNING SOFTBALL
The 14u and 16u Houston Lightning softball teams are hosting a
golf tournament on June 30 th at the Cypresswood Golf Club. This
is a fundraising opportunity for both teams of young women to
help pay for their national travels to play some of the best teams in
the country so they can bring trophies back home to the Houston
area. How can you get involved? Houston Lightning is looking for
golfing four tops to join in on the fun that includes green fees, golf
cart fees and lunch as well as the chance to win great prizes. Four
top registration fee is $500 ($125 a golfer) and allows for a great
18-hole golf game, the chance to win contests and prizes, as well
as the knowledge you are helping local young women to reach

BEAR CREEK BAPTIST CHURCH VBS
Join us this summer for Galactic Starveyors. Your child won’t want to miss
this fun-filled week of Vacation Bible School. As they search the visible for
the invisible, they will enjoy games, crafts, snacks and adventure.
The voyage begins June 12 th -16 th from 9 AM-12:30 PM. Children who have
completed kindergarten-5 th grade during the 2016-17 school year are
