FC CYPRESS SOCCER CLUB -
TRYOUTS, CAMPS & REGISTRATION
After a successful inaugural season, FC Cypress Soccer Club will be starting
their second season and is now recruiting players. Practices are held at
Ollin Sports Therapy, 16636 Hahl and House Road, Cypress. The club
was founded by Cy-Fair resident and former professional player, Marc
Castillo. Students who join FC Cypress can enter one of three different
leagues. Registrations are currently running through September 1 st .
The U6 Soccer School-an 8-week program designed to introduce players
to the sport. Enrollees meet Friday evenings from 6-7 PM to practice for
30 minutes and play games for 30 minutes.
Players in the U7-U10 competitive league - which lasts 13 weeks, enter
the Player Development League hosted by Klein Soccer club at Meyer
Park and play against other teams. Practices take place twice per week
at Ollin Athletics.
Players in the U11 Select Academy - players who possess the right
attitude and desire to take their soccer play to the next level. Training
sessions will be twice per week at Ollin Athletics and games on weekends
as part of TYSA, competing against other teams of the same age group
and skill level.
Students can also take part in summer camps in June and July to prepare
for the upcoming fall season. All information regarding programs, tryouts

SPORTS QUEST SUMMER SOCCER CAMPS 2017
Online registration is now open for summer soccer camps 2017!
Sports Quest is a non-profit, professional soccer training organization,
dedicated to developing and promoting the game of soccer at all levels
in a Christian environment. Sports Quest summer camps offer a unique
opportunity for players aged 5-12 years to develop their technical and
tactical soccer skills and at the same time, addresses key issues relating
to each child’s spiritual and character development. In addition to the
high quality soccer instruction, campers will also receive a free soccer
ball, a free camp T-shirt and other commemorative gifts and awards.

TRYOUTS AND EVALUATIONS
Albion Hurricanes FC (AHFC), established in 1989, is leading the way in
South Texas youth soccer by inspiring and developing young men and
women through world class coaching and innovative techniques, as
well as instilling the proper framework, self-esteem, confidence and
sportsmanship within our athletes. AHFC has multiple campuses in and
around Houston. The club invites all interested players from the ages
of 7 to 18, to the Player Evaluations and Tryouts to become part of our
success. We ask that all interested players pre-register before coming

AHFC offers JHSL (a recreational program for 5-10 year olds) at our Cy Fair
and Central locations and offers additional training at Katy Friday Night
Academy and New Territory Thusday Night Academy. Canes Summer
Soccer Camp will be in June and July and is now open to register. All

LADIES GOLF
A new ladies golf group is now forming at Cypress Lakes Golf Club. No
handicaps required. This will be a casual ladies golf outing to improve
your game and make some new friends. Play will be on Thursday
