8. Whilst getting up from Ruk[`, <strong>the</strong> Im\m will say<br />

SAMI`ALLHU LIMAN ‏.‏AMIDAHچ<br />

All\h hears those who praise Him.<br />

in a loud voice, whilst <strong>the</strong> followers will say<br />

RABBAN LAKAL-چAMD<br />

Our Lord! All praise be to You.<br />

If one is performing %al\h alone, one should recite both.<br />

al-Bukh\r| and Muslim<br />

Note: One must stand and pause momentarily after Ruk[` prior to<br />

Sajdah as this is W\jib.<br />

12 SUNAN OF SAJDAH<br />

1. To say <strong>the</strong> Takb|r while going into Sajdah. Radd al-Mu#t\r<br />

2. To place both knees on <strong>the</strong> ground first, Radd al-Mu#t\r, a{-^a#{\w|<br />

3. Then both <strong>the</strong> hands, Radd al-Mu#t\r, a{-^a#{\w|<br />

4. Then to place <strong>the</strong> nose on <strong>the</strong> ground, Radd al-Mu#t\r, a{-^a#{\w|<br />

5. And finally, <strong>the</strong> forehead. Radd al-Mu#t\r, a{-^a#{\w|<br />

6. The head should be placed between <strong>the</strong> hands.<br />

Radd al-Muhtar, a{-^a#{\w|<br />
