6. To say Sal\m on both sides upon completion <strong>of</strong> %al\h. a{-^a#{\w|<br />

7. To first make Sal\m to <strong>the</strong> right. a{-^a#{\w|<br />

8. The lm\m whilst making Sal\m should intend its blessings for <strong>the</strong><br />

followers, angels and <strong>the</strong> pious jinn.<br />

9. The follower whilst making Sal\m should intend its blessings for<br />

<strong>the</strong> lm\m, angels, pious jinn and all <strong>the</strong> followers on his right and<br />

left side.<br />

10. The Munfarid (a person performing %al\h on his own) should<br />

intend its blessing for <strong>the</strong> angels only.<br />

11. The follower should make Sal\m simultaneously with <strong>the</strong> Im\m<br />

(or immediately after him).<br />

12. The second Sal\m should be said in a lower tone than <strong>the</strong> first.<br />

13. The Masb[q (a person who has joined <strong>the</strong> Im\m late) should<br />

wait for <strong>the</strong> Im\m to end his %al\h before proceeding to complete<br />

his missed rak`ahs.<br />
