ABOUT JSW GROUP AND JSW ENERGY<br />

HBPCL<br />

(KWHEPS and BASPA II)<br />

The Karcham Wangtoo Hydroelectric Plant is a 1,000 megawatts (1,600,000 hp) run-of-the-river hydroelectric power<br />

station on the Sutlej River in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, India. The dam and power station are located between<br />

the villages of Karcham and Wangtoo where the plant also gains its name.<br />

Baspa (Stage II) Hydro-Electric Power Station of 300 MW generating capacity is located in the higher reaches of<br />

Himalayas and is an environment friendly power station, devoid of any rehabilitation or resettlement.<br />

• A Cannabis Plants Uprooting Drive was organized on 16/05/2017.<br />

• The drive was organized in coordination with the JVM Sholtu and Police Department Tapri.<br />

VISIT OF ‘SHIP GURU’ TO HANDLOOM CENTRES<br />

• Four day Skill Development-cum-Training workshop was organized at Both Khaddi Centres.<br />

• A visit of Shilp Guru ( National Awardee) was conducted to make the products qualitative as well as quantitative.<br />

AKANSHA LADIES CLUB<br />

INAUGRATION<br />

“Akansha” Ladies Club, Sholtu was allotted House No B-2 in the township, with the<br />

facility of reading and in-door games. This was inaugurated on 15.05.2017.<br />

PICNIC<br />

A Picnic was organizing on 21.02.2017 from Sholtu to<br />

Kalpa by “Akansha” Ladies.<br />

To create positive working atmosphere among the employees<br />

and workers of HBPCL table tennis tournament was organised<br />

on 30-05-2017 under “UMANG” initiative.<br />
