The annual Firecracker Run takes place
on Tuesday, July 4 with registration beginning
at 6 a.m., followed by a 10K run at 7
a.m., a 5K run at 7:10 a.m. and a 1-mile
Fun Run at 8 a.m. All races begin and
end at CarShield Field, 900 T.R. Hughes
Blvd. in O’Fallon. Runners can register in

Jr. Memorial Golf Outing is at 1 p.m. on

The 2017 Lake Saint Louis Triathlon
takes place on Saturday, August 19
at the LSL Community Association, 100
Cognac Court in Lake Saint Louis. This
is the oldest organized triathlon in the St.
Louis metro area. Competitors challenge
themselves with open-water swimming
and biking/running through hilly terrain.

BENEFITS
The In Plain Sight photography project
is on display from June 29-Aug. 20
at St. Peters Cultural Art Centre, 1 St.
Peters Centre Blvd. Take a self-guided
tour through the exhibit. The project culminates
with a live auction of the photos
at the St. Peters Cultural Arts Centre
on August 19. Proceeds of the auction
directly benefit the homeless in the community.

The 7th Annual Wendy Knop Memorial
Golf Tournament is on Saturday, July 22 at
The Links at Dardenne, 7000 Brassel Drive
in O’Fallon. Fry-Wagner honors Reese
Werner, a 4-year-old cancer patient battling
acute myeloid leukemia and chemotherapyinduced
cardiomyopathy. All proceeds from
the tournament go directly to Reese and her

A Youth Lock-In is from 6 p.m.-6 a.m.
on Saturday, July 1 at Youth Activity Park,

event provides a safe place for kids to get
active and play extreme sports. Youth 12
years and older have all-night access to
the 33,000-square-foot skate/bike park
and all its amenities. Features skate, bike
and scooter competitions with prizes and

environment. Campers use sensory awareness
and science to interact with their environment.
