Hal Chapman Brown, A.B., .
Red Oak, Texas
Henderson-Brown C:llege, V. P. Class
Winter Term
IIal wandered into S. M. U. last fall, the
Hfreshest" looking senior in ~chool. But
it did not take him long to prove his right
to a place within the inner circle. His
work on committees has been very COlllmendable,
and he has never failed to do
his part in any enterprise for the good of
the class. It's true that he ~eems rather
hashful, but really he isn't afraid of tl e
girls. lIe looks very 1l11,'ch like a pedagogue.
Julia Coe, AB., Zeta Tau Alpha,
Dallas, Texas
Randolph-Macon Woman's College; Y. W.
C. A. Cabinet .
Secretary of Class, Fall Term; Pan-Hellenic
Council -
Rotunda Staff ; President Class,
Spring Term
Julia comes to us from Randolph-~IaconJ
bringing with her a host of clever ideas
and a store of enthusiasm which have
meant much to the seniors in their efforts
to do things. She has given lime and energy
to make our class activities worth while.
II er ability to spiel makes studying unnecessary;
so she directs most of her attention
along other lines, social particular~
Iy. Vie woncler why she did not bring her
trunk to the dormitory last fall. To Julia
we give the greatest credit for the success
of Ollr class, and as our third presiden t she
has wrought faithfully and well.
Annie Malyn Dickinson, AB.,
Fort Worth, Texas
Texas Woman's College; Secretary of
Class, Spring Term.
We really expected to find Annie in the
Theological Department, but she did not
desert us so heartlessly. However, she
has theological aspirations. It is known
positively that she has voted against every
motion made in class meetings this year.
She is fond of original things. They say
love made the hollows in her cheeks.
Joe David Doty, A.B.,
Graham, Texas
Polytechnic College; President of Class,
Fall Term; President of Y. M. C. A.;
V. P. Men's Self-Governing Association;
Assistant Editor of "Campus;n Student
Assistant in History.
Jack hails from Polytechnic. As the
first president of the first senior class in
S. M. U., he has done much to set precedents
for future classes and to make the
class of '16 what it should be. Some think
he is a preacher, but he really isn't. I-Ie
says that Cupid has not molested him, hut
he cannot deny that he has barely escaped
the snares of some of the little blind god's
disciples. lIe is a conservatist in most
things and has been prominent in university
circles this year.
