IIere's to the boss! Long may she live
to rule wisely and majestically over her
girls. As president of the House Council
Flora has been closely associated witb all
of the girls and many of the boys, and has
made herself famous for some things.
Surely no other student in school has been
so successful in working the teachers. Oc·
casional1y her heart goes back to Texas,
and then-well, it's no matter. She goes
after things with such a determination that
the "things" rarely escape from her grasp.

Everett dodged the seniors as long as
he cou'ld, but we finally persuaded him
that we were perfectly ha-rmJess. Ilis nickname,
"Bear," doesn't refer in any way to
his disposition, which is unusually friendly
and congenial; but he is just a little timid.
In days pa3t he has made quite a record
in basket ball and track, and the seniors are
depending upon him to carry away the
honors at the interclass meet.

come place In our class. Nobody ever sees
her when she isn't in a jolly humor. Vv e

ings.

Raymond tried T. C. U. for a while but
necided that his training at Polytechnic
fitted h;m better for S. M. U. lIe habitually
cuts class meetings and social functions
because he is busy, he says. Geology ;s
his specialty, but he isn't fossilized yet.
