fishing? <strong>Sebring</strong> is centrally located in Highlands County,<br />
the 14th largest county in Florida, with more than 100<br />
lakes including our state’s fifth largest lake.<br />
Like golf? There are 16 award-winning golf courses,<br />
including a course with one of the world’s largest greens,<br />
plus other courses designed by international names,<br />
promising a great game for the most practiced golf enthusiast.<br />
How about theater and the arts? We have two theaters,<br />
which produce more than a dozen professional performances<br />
each year. In addition, <strong>Sebring</strong> has some of the<br />
best museums in Central Florida and an art league that is<br />
well known for its galleries, and offers painting, sculpture<br />
and crafts classes for all ages.<br />
Do you have a “need for speed?” <strong>Sebring</strong> is also home<br />
to the world-renowned <strong>Sebring</strong> International Raceway<br />
where each March the famous 12 Hours of <strong>Sebring</strong> thrills<br />
race enthusiasts who travel to <strong>Sebring</strong> from around the<br />
world. The track also hosts many other races and events<br />
throughout the year.<br />
Are you a “foodie?” Nowhere will you find more variety<br />

in local restaurants! From Asian to Jamaican, foods from<br />
around the world are enjoyed here.<br />
Do you enjoy “the great outdoors?” Besides all the water<br />
activities provided by our numerous lakes, there’s camping,<br />
hiking and biking trails at Florida’s first state park<br />
right here in <strong>Sebring</strong>, where you can see wildlife, such<br />
as alligators, wild boar, armadillos and otters. Also, right<br />
down the road is Central Florida’s only biological station<br />
and agro-ecology research center. Several other nature<br />
preserves are also close by.<br />
And did I mention the shopping opportunities? We have<br />
so many unique shops that it may be impossible to visit<br />
them all. But you can try!<br />
