Teacher Testimony "Dylan (7th grade) has shown a significant improvement on his Fitnessgram scores. He went from passing 2 out of 6 to an increase of passing 4 out of 6 in the Healthy Fitness Zone this school year. Dylan has demonstrated a great attitude on improving his own health by setting goals, working hard, and making improvements towards his fitness goals, since the Fitnessgram pretesting in September 2016. Additionally Dylan has demonstrated personal responsibility in Mrs. Berni- Ramos PE class, as he dresses every day for PE, and works well with his peers. He has demonstrated excellent character, work habits, and cooperation. Teacher Testimony "My name is Barbara Ele, Special Education teacher at Emelita Academy Charter. I am writing to let you know how much I appreciate you, RSG! and Katherine Starr for all the hard work that you've been doing for the kids. The children enjoy the activities and are benefiting from the program tremendously. I noted that my children have improved their strength, coordination, flexibility, speed, and attitude. They have realized that exercise makes a person healthy not only physically, but also mentally, socially, and emotionally. Additionally, the program has reinforced the concept of perserverance and respect. They have learned to transfer those important values from the field into the classroom when they are working on math, language arts, science, and social studies.
