Student Testimony
"To see and admire a Paralympian in our
school was truly an honor. She totally
influenced my decision on doing my
best. Also, she gave us advise to never
give up on your dreams. She showed us
the true power of motivation when we
were about to do our State Test and
even showed us how she plays with her
basketball team. All of the students,
myself included, were amazed by how
unique this sport could be. She has
shown us her medals on what she has
won and actually you would be surprised
by her capacity. She has believed in us
to keep on succeeding on PE, and every
little obstacle we get in front of. But truly
the lesson I learned from her is to always
be grateful for what we have and to be
appreciative to what we have obstained.

"The reason I selected Donaji for the
watch is because she is an excellent
student. She is always willing to pitch a
hand, to clear out the locker room, help a
student with a locker, translate Spanish
to English, she is your woman. She also
has an incredible amount of sympathy
and compassion for the special education
students, our class co teaches with APE
(adaptive PE) and she is remarkable.
She has all A's and far exceeds her
peers in maturity. She is a joy to have in
class and feel she was the most
deserving 9th grader. She continues to
improve her running times and did an
excellent job on the fitness test. I wish
her the absolute best and could only
hope for more students like her."
