<strong>Temple</strong> <strong>Emanuel</strong> will be a leader in South Jersey and Reform Judaism as a vibrant, thriving<br />
and engaging congregation. We will continue to honor our heritage by providing a place that<br />
nurtures a cohesive community and fosters our relationship with God, Torah and Israel. Our<br />
collective commitment will ensure that we pass along a <strong>Temple</strong> <strong>Emanuel</strong> home, relevant to<br />
our future generations, with the same love, devotion and faith that our past generations did<br />
for all of us.<br />
We will continue to strengthen our congregation by providing an ongoing invitation to those<br />
seeking a home for their Jewish journey and help them to express their Jewish identity.<br />
Each person entering our space is an integral part of the <strong>Temple</strong> <strong>Emanuel</strong> fabric. We are<br />
proud to say that however someone defines family they will find a Jewish connection at<br />

Membership Engagement<br />
Third Wednesday each Month<br />
The purpose of the Membership Committee is to<br />
develop creative ways to address new member<br />
acquisition, new and current member engagement,<br />
and member retention.<br />
Education<br />
Second Wednesday each Month<br />
The purpose of the Education Committee is to<br />
vision and create educational and programming<br />
opportunities for our youth.<br />
House<br />
Fourth Wednesday each Month<br />
The purpose of the House Committee is to deal with<br />
facility issues with respect to the <strong>Temple</strong>’s buildings<br />
and plant.<br />

Finance<br />
Second Tuesday each Month<br />
The purpose of the Finance Committee is to work in<br />
partnership with the staff members and the Executive<br />
Board to prepare the following year’s budget for<br />
presentation to the Executive Board and Board of<br />
Trustees and approval at the annual Congregational<br />
Meeting.<br />
Social Action<br />
First Monday each Month<br />
The purpose of the Social Action Committee is to help<br />
those in our community in need. See more on page 18.<br />
Ritual<br />
Third Monday each Month<br />
The purpose of the Ritual Committee is to work<br />
closely with <strong>Temple</strong> <strong>Emanuel</strong> Clergy team to create<br />
meaningful services and holiday programming.
