in every two <strong>CEO</strong>s says that<br />

they need to become smarter<br />

in tracking the impact of related<br />

investments in cyber on the<br />

overall organisation.<br />

Organisations have made<br />

clear progress in terms of<br />

preparedness for a cyber-event.<br />

About 45 per cent of the <strong>CEO</strong>s<br />

surveyed in <strong>2017</strong> said that they<br />

feel prepared for a cyber-event,<br />

up from 17 per cent in 2016.<br />

Given the level of investments<br />

in cybersecurity, the level of<br />

preparedness is expected to only<br />

increase in the near future.<br />

According to the survey, more<br />

than 50 per cent of <strong>India</strong>n <strong>CEO</strong>s<br />

are prepared for equipment/<br />

software attack, employeeled<br />

data breach, social media<br />

hacking, customer data theft <strong>and</strong><br />

business data theft.<br />
