HEALTH CARE
Jefferson City is fortunate to have excellent health care services
available in our community. Two award-winning hospitals, Capital
Region Medical Center and SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital, along
with Jefferson City Medical Group (JCMG), one of Missouri’s largest
multi-specialty physician-owned medical groups, CMMP Surgical
Center, the Community Health Center, cancer centers, urgent care,
family and specialty clinics make up the core of our community’s
health care. Laser & vein care, audiology, dental, chiropractic,
behavioral health, nutrition and natural health counseling, along with
sports medicine, pharmacies, cancer centers, physical & occupational
therapy clinics provide additional medical services.
In addition, our community has a variety of options for senior
living and long-term care. Home Care services are also expanding.
Capital Region Medical Center, an affiliate of
University of Missouri Health Care, is located at 1125 Madison. The
hospital completed a $38 million, 120,000-square-foot expansion in
2015, improving access to specialists and outpatient services. Learn

SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital, 2505 Mission
Drive, opened its new state-of-the art hospital in November
2014. The 167-bed, full-service community hospital features
a dedicated inpatient pediatric unit, a Wound Center and
Outpatient Treatment Center​ in addition to many other

Dr. Brandi Nichols, Women’s Clinic of JCMG
Jefferson City Medical Group (JCMG), 1241 W.
Stadium Blvd, was established in 1993, and has grown into one of
Missouri’s largest multi-specialty groups owned and operated by
physicians. JCMG coordinates the care of more than 70,000 patients
in Central Missouri. JCMG physicians are on staff at SSM St. Mary’s
and Capital Region Medical Center. Other JCMG clinics are located

CMMP Surgical Center, 1705 Christy Drive, is owned by a
number of local physicians with a minority interest held by Physicians
Surgical Care Inc., based in Nashville, Tennessee. CMMP Surgical
Center has provided surgeons and their patients an alternative to the
hospital outpatient setting since 1995 and was the first state-licensed
and Medicare-certified ambulatory surgery center in Mid-Missouri.

Community Health Center of Central Missouri
is located at 3400 W. Truman Blvd. Community Health Center
of Central Missouri was established in 2005 to serve the primary
healthcare needs of Central Missouri residents. In addition to
Jefferson City, Community Health Center has clinics in Fulton,
California, and Linn, and provides Family Medicine, Dental, and
behavioral Health services. CHCCM emphasizes providing access
to primary care services to everyone, regardless of their ability to
pay and works with community partners to achieve their vision of

Cole County Health Department, 1616 Industrial
Drive, provides a variety of services for county residents including,
but not limited to, immunizations, birth & death certificates, blood
pressure screenings, pregnancy tests, tuberculosis testing and nurse
