We meet weekly on Wednesday
afternoons from 1.45 until 3.30 pm at
the Bowls Club, Wellingborough
Road. Admission is £1.00 plus raffle

St Mary's Thursday
Club
Our next meeting will be held on
August 24th 2017. We have arranged
a visit to Gallonies Ice Cream Making
at Northampton. This is at the cost of
£17.50pp (maximum) which includes
return travel to and from
Northampton, making 2 batches of ice
cream using a multitude of flavours
and colours , being served 1 scoop of
sundae and coming home with a tub
of the ice cream that you have just
made.
The mini bus will be leaving from the
bottom of Rose Hill at 6.45pm.
Tickets for this outing are limited
so anyone wishing to join us who is
not a member would need to get in
touch to check availability.

meet once a month on the 4th
Thursday (evening).
We also run a mums and tots group
during the school term. The group
meets on a Thursday afternoon at
The Mission Room from 1.30pm -
3.00pm.
Mothers Union
A big thank-you to everyone who
came to our Strawberry Tea, which
realised a profit of £158-50.
Consequently a cheque for £160 has
been forwarded to the Mothers Union
Summer of Hope Appeal. Well done
to everyone who helped in any way.
We will not be holding a meeting in
August, so the next MU meeting will
be on Tuesday 5th September.
Townswomen’s Guild
Alistair Borland is our guest speaker
at 7.30 on 3rd August in the Town
Hall. His talk is entitled 'Bikers, Blood
and Babies'.
There will be a sales table of home
bakes, and the competition is for a
heart-shaped object.
Visitors are very welcome to attend
for a small charge of £3.00.
