IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred upon the Comptroller of Customs and Excise under the provisions of the Customs Act, Chap. 78:01,
I, Fitzroy A. John, Comptroller of Customs and Excise, acting under the provisions of section 263(2) of the said Act, do hereby appoint
the place specified in the Schedule hereto to be a Private Warehouse area for the storage, pending entry for home consumption or
export of the following goods, as shall be warehoused by or in the Private Warehouse of Messrs: A. S. Bryden and Sons (Trinidad)
Limited, Off Ibis Avenue, Don Miguel Road, San Juan, Wine Spirits and General Cargo and such other goods as I may subsequently
approve.
SCHEDULE
An enclosed area in the main warehouse measuring 54.71 metres on the southern side and 17.70 metres on the eastern

No. 1, used for the warehousing of wines and spirits. Within this area is enclosed a section on the south western corner

An enclosed rectangular area in the main warehouse measuring 51.61 metres on the southern side and 4.80 metres on the

Room or Customs Bond No. 2, used for the warehousing of wines and spirits.
The building is constructed of concrete and steel walls, concrete floors and galvanize iron roof supported by steel beams.
The entire area is fenced with concrete blocks and secured by private security guards.
The property is bounded on the north by lands and buildings owned by L. J. Williams Limited, south by Ibis Avenue, west
by lands and buildings owned by L. J. Williams Limited, and on the east by Lapwing Drive.

AMENDMENT TO THE RULES OF RACING
Rule 56—Prizes:
At a meeting of the Trinidad and Tobago Racing Authority held on Wednesday the 28th December, 2011 it was resolved
that an amendment be made to the Rules of Racing:
A. Deletion and Substitution:
To delete the word “inclusive” and substitute in its place the word “exclusive” at Rule 56 (7)(a)(i), Rule 56 (7)(a)(ii) and
Rule 56(7)(b)(i); and
B. Addition:
To add the words “or equals to” between the phase “less than” and the word “$25,000.00” at Rule 56 (7)(b)(ii)
So that Rule 56(7) reads as follows:
Rule 56(7) earned commissions shall be deducted by the secretary from the prize money and paid to the jockey, trainer and
groom in accordance with the following procedure:
(a) Graded Races:
(i) Jockeys—10 per cent on all places—exclusive of basic riding fees;
(ii) Apprentices—5 per cent on all places—exclusive of basic riding fees;
(As amended on 28th December, 2011)
(b) Non-graded Races:
(i) In any race in which the prize money exceeds $25,000.00, Jockeys will receive 10% and Apprentices 5% of their
placing in said race exclusive of basic riding fees.
(ii) In any race in which the prize money is less than or equals $25,000.00, Jockeys will receive 10% and Apprentices
5% of First Place and also the following:
(As amended on 17th December, 2002 and 28th December, 2011)
Jockeys Apprentices
2nd Place 5% 21/2 % (inclusive of betting Levy Boards Subsidy)
3rd Place 5% 21/2 % (inclusive of betting Levy Boards Subsidy)
4th Place 5% 21/2 % (inclusive of betting Levy Boards Subsidy)
(c) Trainers—10 per cent on all places.
