TEXAS LAND BROKERS NETWORK

As we look forward to the fall market, your
TLBN broker membership is most likely to look
back on the summer market and describe it as
“fickle.” It seems apparent that some of the
market fundamentals are changing, but not at
a point where they can be clearly identified or
managed for. Some properties that would have
flown of the shelf 18 months ago seem to be
sitting idle now, and things that would not sell
18 months ago seem to be flying off the shelf.
All the more reason to ensure you partner with
a broker that will build a marketing platform to
suit your property, and give expert knowledge of
pricing and market placement. There is no one
more qualified than your regional TLBN broker to
provide that professional assistance. Fall is the
busiest time of year, to be out on the land among
our beautiful Texas landscapes. Enjoy!
TEXAS ALLIANCE OF LAND BROKERS

Whether you are buying or selling rural property,
there are numerous reasons why you want to
engage in the services of a member of the
Texas Alliance of Land Brokers (TALB). Our
members offer:
• Knowledge of land markets and mineral,
water and timber rights
• Expertise in locating rural properties
• Specialized knowledge of the Texas Farm
and Ranch Contract
• Ability to find financing for rural properties
• Understanding of political and government
regulations related to rural land ownership
Our mission is to assist our membership through
broker cooperation, ethics, marketing, private
property rights, fellowship and educational
speakers who can provide information that is
useful to our rural land experience. Our members,
as well as guests, attend monthly meetings where
we have speakers who are professionals in their
field. The August meeting will be on Wednesday,
August 23, at the Woodrose Winery in Stonewall
with Texas Agriculture Commissioner, Sid
Miller, speaking. The September meeting will
be on Wednesday, September 27, at the Old
300 BBQ in Blanco with Rusty Adams, the legal
expert at the Real Estate Center, speaking.
Both meetings will begin at 11:15 a.m.
