We believe in the power of design to improve institutional performance, attract top faculty and students, enhance the learning experience, and inspire future innovations. Our education clients range from two-year technical colleges where the primary mission is to train a more skilled workforce, to leading research universities whose discoveries will shape the future on a global scale. We have experience with a wide range of projects, including allied health buildings, research labs, recreational facilities, and student housing. An inclusive and participatory design process has become a signature trait of our firm, resulting in high performance buildings that support the needs of diverse stakeholders.

The rapidly-growing school hired the firm to provide building design and master planning for the entire
Alpharetta campus to meet its growing needs. Site challenges drove most of the design work, as multiple
streams limited building placement. Positioned at the main entrance to avoid stream disruption, the
campus’s first building houses administrative functions such as recruitment, police, bookstore, library,
advisement and tech support spaces. The second floor’s lengthy curved curtain wall floods light in the
open office administration area and public spaces and provides support for the outdoor patio for the third
floor above. A new campus side entrance allows for direct access without affecting traffic congestion.
The firm’s campus vision supports the school’s plan for growth and maximizes its exposure from the prime
Alpharetta location.
