Recognized on List of Best Hospitals for 2013<br />
America’s Best Hospitals for 2013 were identified in a report issued<br />
recently by HealthGrades, the leading provider of information to<br />
help consumers make an informed decision about a physician or hospital.<br />
These hospitals demonstrated superior and sustained clinical quality,<br />
ranking them in the top five percent of all hospitals in the nation. Once<br />
again, HealthGrades has identified Sebastian River Medical Center as<br />
one of America’s Best Hospitals.<br />
America’s Best Hospital award recipients are those that have received<br />
the HealthGrades Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence <br />
(DHA-CE) the most consecutive years. A minimum of four consecutive<br />
years was required to make the 100 Best Hospitals list and these elite<br />
organizations represent the best of the top-performing hospitals, setting<br />
the quality standard for American hospitals.<br />
Sebastian River Medical Center was included in a press release about<br />
this recognition, and is listed on the HealthGrades’ website (www.healthgrades.com).<br />
In addition to the Best Hospital recognition, last year the<br />
hospital received Specialty Awards for General Surgery Excellence, Stroke<br />
Care Excellence and Gastrointestinal Excellence from HealthGrades.<br />
