Tuesday 21st Kensington Palace including Diana : Her Fashion Story ROUTE B<br />

Kensington Palace is one of central London's royal residences and recently underwent a<br />

£12million refurbishment. Formerly the home of Princess Diana, it is now the official<br />

residence to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – Kate and Wills. Built in 1605, it has<br />

roots in Jacobean architecture and is one of London's most exquisite palaces. Inside,<br />

there are exhibitions exploring the lives of Kensington's inhabitants, whilst outside there<br />

are acres of manicured gardens and the world famous Orangery. A new lift makes the<br />

Palace accessible to all. Following the phenomenal success of Diana - Her Fashion<br />

Story the exhibition has now been extended. Price includes entrance to Palace and<br />

Wednesday 22nd City of Wells at Christmas<br />

It’s a special time to visit this little gem. Wells qualifies as England's smallest, and<br />

Somerset's only city because of its amazing 12th century Cathedral - certainly one of the<br />

finest in the country and extra special at this time of year as Christmas approaches. The<br />

wells, which gave the city its name, are located within the grounds of the Bishop's Palace,<br />

which is still the residence of the Bishop of Bath and Wells. Also of interest are Vicars'<br />

Close, claimed to be the oldest complete medieval street in Europe, and the historic<br />

Come along and enjoy the superb shopping and atmosphere of Oxford at Christmas. The<br />

beautiful colleges have been a place of learning for over 800 years making the city a<br />

world class tourist destination. Very pedestrian friendly, Oxford is a bustling cosmopolitan town with a lovely riverside setting and a lively mix of restaurants, bars and shops.<br />

After a later than normal start we should arrive in London early afternoon and drop near to Marble Arch allowing easy access to the world famous Oxford Street which has<br />

some of the flagship stores of the big brands. Closeby is Regent Street, home to more of the biggest high street brands plus iconic stores such as Hamleys. We are departing<br />

Tuesday 28th Windsor at Christmas - FESTIVE FARE!!<br />

It's a lovely time of year to visit Windsor with some great shopping as well as festive attractions around the town. You may wish to visit the Castle which is located in the<br />

middle of the town or just enjoy a lovely lunch in one of the many cafes, restaurants or pubs and stroll among the fashionable shops. Great place to find that unusual gift in<br />

Stunningly located against the backdrop of the magnificent Cathedral and centred<br />

around an outdoor ice rink these Christmas Markets have proved to be really popular.<br />

Inspired by the Continental Markets, beautifully decorated wooden chalets offer unusual<br />

gifts and traditional foods to enjoy including festive favourites such as, mulled wine,<br />

bratwurst, mince pies and stollen. Alternatively, the Cathedral Refectory and ice rink<br />

and toe-tapping entertainment in Fagin's Tavern. Unearth unique gifts for loved ones at<br />
