Police Reports
Stolen vehicle recovered
An unsecured vehicle
reported stolen from a residential
driveway Sept. 8 was
later recovered by Illinois
State Police, according to
the Frankfort Police Department.
The vehicle, which was
reported missing from the
20600 block of Orchard
Court, was found in damaged
condition.
Sept. 12
• James Smith, 22, of 800
Cedar Ridge Lane in Richton
Park was cited for alleged
speeding and driving with a
suspended license.
Sept. 10
• Courtney Cabeen, 29, of
108 Jessen Street in Peotone
was charged with alleged
felony theft and transported
to the Will County jail.
• Irina Cunnar, 28, of 39
S. Squire Road in Palos
Heights was cited for alleged
failure to yield to emergency
vehicle, improper turn,
failure to signal, DUI and a
blood alcohol concentration
in excess of .08.
Sept. 9
• An ATV was reported stolen
from business property
in the 21800 block of Pfeiffer
Road.
Sept. 8
• Three watches, a laptop,
$150, silver coins, and a
1972 Eastern Illinois University
class ring were reported
missing from the
10000 block of West Kuse
Road.
• Sandra Bowens, 52, of
22399 Helen Drive in Sauk
Village was cited for alleged
improper lane usage and
driving with a suspended license.
• Entry of an unsecured vehicle
was reported in the 8600
block of Huckins Drive,
though no items were reported
missing.
• Miscellaneous items were
reported taken from an unsecured
vehicle in the 20500
block of Hotchkiss Drive.
Sept. 6
• Matthew Brooks, 32, of
19838 S. Skye Drive in
Frankfort was arrested in
the 7400 block of West Benton
Drive for alleged DUI,
operating an uninsured motor
vehicle, failure to reduce
speed to avoid an accident
and illegal use of a cell
phone.
• At least one unknown person
reportedly entered a vehicle
parked at Speedway
Gas and stole a purse from
the vehicle.
• Asya Pierson, 23, of 4326
Oakwood Lane in Matteson
was arrested in the 7600
block of W. Lincoln Highway
for alleged DUI,
operating an uninsured motor
vehicle, failure to reduce
speed to avoid an accident
and improper lane usage.
• Unauthorized entry to an
unsecured vehicle was reported
in the 21400 block of
Settlers Pond Drive.
• Kathy Carter-Mckinney,
54, of 2035 W 75th Place in
Merriville, Ind., was cited
for allegedly driving with a
suspended license.
Sept. 5
• Kristi Hopkins, 43, of 218
W. South St. in Elwood was
cited at the intersection of
West Lincoln Highway and
South Wolf Road for allegedly
driving with a suspended
license.
