In memoriam
James Edward
Klaisner
James Edward
Klaisner, 76, of Frankfort,
died Sept. 11. James was an
Army veteran of the Vietnam
War, 174th AHC and
a member of the American
Legion Post 474. He was a
lifetime classic car enthusiast
and an amazing bowler.
He enjoyed frequent road
trips, took delight in telling
stories everywhere he went,
and fueled himself on-thego
daily with Starbucks.
James is survived by his
wife Janice (nee Stoeven),
daughter Jessica (Neko)
Zairis; grandchildren Leah,
Leo and Lexi Zairis, as well
as numerous nieces and
nephews. He was preceded
in death by his parents, his
sister Virginia Parkes and
brother Mel Klaisner.
Visitation was held Sept.
14 at Immanuel Evangelical
Lutheran Church in Mokena,
followed by interment
at Skyline Memorial Park in
Monee. In lieu of flowers,
the family requests memorials
to Immanuel Evangelical
Lutheran Church or Vitas
Hospice of Tinley Park.
Daniel P. McCullough
Daniel P. McCullough, 66,
of Frankfort, died Sept. 12.
Dan was born in Hammond,
Ind., to the late Joseph and
Jane (nee Dobrowolski)
McCullough. Beloved husband
of Carol (nee Lenert);
loving father of Kathleen
(Jeffery) Yakey; cherished
grandfather of Alyssa,
Emma, and Tyler Yakey;
dear brother of Jane (David)
Hensley, the late James Mc-
Cullough, and Joseph (Connie)
McCullough. Dan was
a retired Financial Manager
for Halstar Chemical Co,
and a member of Sigma Pi
at Northern Illinois University.
In lieu of flowers, memorials
in Dan’s name to St.
Jude Children’s Research
Hospital would be appreciated.
Family received
friends at Kurtz Memorial
Chapel, and interment was
held at Resurrection Cemetery
in Justice.
Roy M. Hensley, Jr.
Roy M. Hensley,
Jr., 87, of
Frankfort, died Sept. 13.
He is survived by his loving
family; children Anna
Marie (Ron Miller) Hensley,
Christian Hensley, Terri
Hensley and Lawrence
(Christine) Hensley, Sr.;
grandchildren Amber, Taylor,
Afton, Nicole, Kellyn,
Lawrence, Jr. and Leah; two
great grandchildrena and
many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death
by his first wife Elaine
Hensley and second wife
Bonnie Hensley; parents
Roy and Clara Hensley,
Sr.; sisters Betty Berchem,
Mardell Salmen, Evelyn
Worth, Adeline Spelbring
and brothers Medford
Hensley, Harold Hensley,
Eugene Hensley and Robert
Hensley. He was a veteran
of the U.S. Navy, owner
of Hensley Electric and a
member of IBEW Local #
134 for over 50 years. Family
received friends at Kurtz
Memorial Chapel, and interment
was held at Pleasant
Hill Cemetery. In lieu of
flowers memorial donations
to the American Cancer Society
would be appreciated.
