Tanjung Batu beach has a history
of some impressive catches such
as barramundi, mangrove jacks
and even giant trevally but unfortunately
the calm seas on the
event day only made it possible
to catch groupers. In Bintulu the
waters have to be rough to create
a chance for other species to
be caught. Clear waters and calm
seas meant that bigger fish would
not come close to shore.
