Results on the FY2016 Employee Climate Survey, which is a survey
done annually by the County, reveal that 89% of employees are
motivated and satisfied to work for Mecklenburg County. The
top three drivers for the results include: supervisors treating
employees fairly, supervisors providing flexibility to balance
work and personal life, and supervisors treating employees with
respect.

When reviewing for disparity in the FY2016 Employee Motivation
& Satisfaction results, persons under 25 and persons 55 and older
had statistically significant higher results than persons ranging in
age from 25 to 54. There was no statistically significant disparity
seen with gender and race/ethnicity.
