Our annual gathering to remember the sacrifice
of the British and Free French aircrews that
served at Elvington during World War Two,
together will those that have served to deliver
the freedom we enjoy today. Remembrance
services at both Elvington village and a service

Alice in Wonderland Auditions
Open auditions for all ages are being held for a
musical production of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ on
Sunday 12th and Sunday 26th November for a
June 2018 production at the Joseph Rowntree
Theatre in York. We’re looking for all characters
including Alice, the White Rabbit and Cheshire
Cat. Whether you’ve got experience or just want
to have a go, we’re really friendly and would love
you to audition for us (it’s pretty informal too!)

Christmas Opening
A huge Christmas tree from the estate’s
forestland will dominate the Great Hall.
Original Elizabethan and Jacobean quarters
will be decorated in traditional style whilst
the extraordinary Long Gallery will have a
contemporary Christmas mood to complement
its collection of modern and impressionist art.

Our annual festive crafts market is now in
its third year and is a firm favourite for both
famillies and art and craft lovers. The huge
