Star Gazing at Malham Tarn
An introduction to star gazing and constellations
led by our rangers. This event is weather
dependant so if we can’t see the stars we
will take you on a night walk instead. Wear
appropriate outdoor clothing and sturdy
footwear. Please bring a torch (no head torches)
and binoculars if you have them. All children

Halloween at Kilnsey Park Estate
Our friendly witch ‘Old Nan’ and her witchin-training
are brewing up a treat (no tricks!)
for you this half term. There’ll be crafts, face
painting, spell-making and spooky(ish!)
stories round the campfire with toasted
marshmallows. A carved pumpkin hunt will
lead you round to solve the witch’s riddle and
take in the seasonal sights and sounds of the
trail as you go. Keep snug in the café with

Creepy Halloween at the Castle

you explore the ‘haunted’ East Wing of Castle

visitors for many years - it will be ‘haunted’
by a cast of imaginary spooky characters
