Your local Kumon Study Centre is offering a two-week Free Trial
between 1 October and 20 November 2017. Your child can
experience how the Kumon Maths and English Programmes help
children of any age and ability to become confident, independent
learners with a positive attitude to study.
Whittingtons Christmas Open Day
On Saturday 18th November, we are having a Christmas Open Day
to showcase the expansion of our upstairs in to a brand new silk
flower showroom, along with a wide range of Christmas decorations
at trade prices. Children can visit Santa in his grotto and receive a
present, and also feed our real-life reindeer. There will also be the
opportunity to write your letters to Santa and post your Christmas
wish list in our Children’s Corner. Refreshments will be available, as
well as a raffle and floral demonstration.

quality products for all your floristry supplies and sundries, including
silk flowers, ribbons, cellophane, floral foam, glass vases, wedding,
bridal, party products, and much more at trade prices. Established

The Kumon Maths and English Programmes help to build a solid
foundation whilst developing ability in small, manageable steps.
Through the use of example questions, students are encouraged
to problem solve and work out answers independently. All our
Instructors are highly trained in the Kumon Maths and English
Programmes and will look to help your child build fluency, ability and
confidence as well as a love of learning.
Before starting the Free-Trial, your child will have an individual
assessment with your local Instructor to assess their maths and
English ability as well as their study skills. This is a no obligation
assessment which will give you the opportunity to meet your local
Instructor and understand in more depth how Kumon will help
develop your child.

Lost City Adventure Golf
The Lost City Adventure Golf is based in the heart of Nottingham
at The Cornerhouse and houses two separate 18 hole, rainforest

Timmermans Garden Centre
The team at Timmermans Garden Centre in Woodborough, winner of
UK Garden Centre of the Year 2016, have gone all-out to make this
year’s grotto even more magical to delight & amaze all ages. Opening
on November 18th, with Santa arriving at 11am, walk through Santa’s
Winter Wonderland to discover new and familiar characters in a
fantastical festive world which culminates at Santa’s woodland home.
The hugely popular Breakfast with Santa will be held in the garden
centre’s award winning restaurant Belle & Joe’s Kitchen as well as
Afternoon Tea with Carol Singers & Santa, which are events sure to
get the whole family into the Christmas spirit.
With a stunning range of unusual decorations, lights and gifts,
Timmermans are aiming, once again, to be the county’s destination
garden centre this Christmas. Santa’s Winter Wonderland will be
open every day up to 31st December with Santa in residence every
weekend up to Christmas Eve plus Thursdays & Fridays during
