arinette <strong>Co</strong>unty is home to nine golf courses, all of<br />
which offer exciting play, beautiful scenery, and the relaxed<br />
enjoyment many associate with an afternoon playing the<br />
links. Each course offers various challenges. One is on an<br />
island surrounded by the Menominee River. Others have<br />
mature trees throughout the course with white-tailed deer<br />
or possibly turkey roaming through the fairways. No matter<br />
what the challenge is, these courses will test your ability.<br />
<strong>Co</strong>urses are open to the public and offer anywhere from<br />
9 to 27 holes and driving ranges either on-site or nearby,<br />
each course has its special atmosphere. In Peshtigo, you<br />
can find a course that is located in farm fields. In Bicycling<br />
& Sailing the Crivitz area, you may find a course located in<br />
the rolling hills or nestled in a forest. In Pembine, you will<br />
find an island course and in Niagara, one along the bluffs<br />
of the Menominee River.<br />

Z<br />
ip-lining, is a popular attraction in <strong>Marinette</strong> <strong>Co</strong>unty.<br />
Zip-lining the forest canopy can be an exciting<br />
adventure offering bird’s eye views as you fly down the<br />
lines! Safety is always the number one priority on zip-line<br />
tours. Almost anyone can participate. Keep in mind when<br />
considering this type of activity that you must be at least<br />
70 pounds and not more than 270 pounds in weight.<br />
P<br />
aintball is growing in popularity all over, and<br />
<strong>Marinette</strong> <strong>Co</strong>unty is no exception. This is a game of<br />
strategy in which individuals or teams try to eliminate<br />
their opponents by tagging them with paintballs.<br />
Using a paintball gun or marker, players shoot at each<br />
other to remove opponents from the game.<br />
Referees are on site to help with rules and safety<br />
issue that may arise.<br />
