Caernarfon is a superb<br />

holiday destination. Situated<br />

on the Menai Straits in<br />

North West Wales,<br />

Caernarfon has a<br />

fascinating history dating<br />

back to Roman Times. At<br />

the very heart of the town is<br />

the 13th century castle built<br />

by Edward I, Wales’s most<br />

famous castle and now a<br />

UNESCO World Heritage<br />

Site. The town is a delight to<br />

explore with a stylish marina<br />

area, river walks around the<br />

mighty castle and a large<br />

central square surrounded<br />

by shops, cafes and<br />

restaurants. You feel the<br />

history as you explore the<br />

narrow streets lined by<br />

stone, slate roofed buildings<br />

and know you’ll want to<br />

return.<br />

DAY 1 After being collected from your local pick up point around 7.00/8.00am we have refreshment stops<br />

as required before arriving in Caernarfon late afternoon.<br />

DAY 2 A free day today for you to relax and enjoy Caernarfon. The hotel is just a short stroll to the<br />

heart of the town, so grab a town map and explore the compact centre - a visit to the castle<br />

today is surely a must. Enjoy some lunch in one of the many cafés, restaurants or pubs.<br />

DAY 3 Today we are joined by our local guide for a tour in to the Snowdonia National Park. Don’t<br />

forget your camera as this area is simply stunning - some of the best scenery in Britain. With<br />

various stops during the day including Betws-y-Coed, this will be a day to remember.<br />

DAY 4 You may like to join our excursion today as we head to Llandudno. This lovely resort,<br />

flanked by the Great & Little Orme has a lovely sweeping Esplanade and vast choice of<br />

cafes, restaurants and shops. If time allows, why not take the tramway to the top of Great Orme.<br />

DAY 5 We head home with refreshment stops as required. Arriving in the local area around 5.00pm.<br />

DAY 1 After being collected from your home (approx 8.00am) we have refreshment stops as required<br />

before arriving at the hotel late afternoon. Time to settle in to the hotel and hopefully enjoy your first<br />

sunset from the beachfront lounge.<br />

DAY 2 Today we will have a half day excursion along the coast to Padstow. We head off mid morning to<br />

visit this charming Cornish fishing port home of Rick Stein’s culinary empire. Feel the history as<br />

you stroll around the narrow streets and pick out somewhere nice for lunch.<br />

DAY 3 Memorable day out today as we head to the superb Trebah Gardens. These amazing sub tropical<br />

gardens near to Falmouth have a stunning location with a staggering variety of plants and trees<br />

including 100 year old rhododendrons, magnolias and camellias. One of the most popular gardens in<br />

the whole country. Entrance included. Please note there are steep sections in the gardens.<br />

DAY 4 We shall have a lovely drive out through the countryside to St Ives, an artists paradise and one<br />

of the most beautiful seaside towns in the county with an array of galleries and interesting shops.<br />

DAY 5 We head home this morning, with refreshment stops as required before being returned to your home<br />

via our home collection service around 5.00/6.00pm.<br />

Overlooking the magnificent Fistral Beach, we<br />

have been using this hotel for nearly 20 years.<br />

It offers something for everyone - the town<br />

centre is a 10 minute walk away but with the<br />

South West Coast Path outside the hotel you<br />

can go much further if you wish! Or stay in the<br />

hotel and enjoy views of the surfers from the<br />

beachfront lounge or Pebbles Bar. It’s a friendly<br />

hotel with a relaxed atmosphere - somewhere<br />

you can really relax. If you fancy a swim the<br />

hotel has an excellent indoor pool and spa. The<br />

Ocean View restaurant serves good quality<br />

food with a choice of menu in a lovely setting.<br />
