<strong>Fire</strong> sprinkler installation<br />

L2 certificate <strong>and</strong> L3 upskilling award<br />

West College Scotl<strong>and</strong> is the first <strong>and</strong> only college in Scotl<strong>and</strong> to deliver<br />

<strong>and</strong> certificate fire sprinkler installation training courses in partnership with<br />

the British Automatic <strong>Sprinkler</strong> Association (BAFSA).<br />

Whether you're a current or new installer, or working in the building services<br />

industry, our courses will enable you to gain a nationally recognised<br />

qualification in fire sprinkler installation <strong>and</strong> maintenance.<br />

IQ Level 2 certificate<br />

✓for current <strong>and</strong> new installers<br />

✓certified by Industry Qualification Ltd.<br />

✓part-time (1 day per week over 30 weeks)<br />

or full-time (6 x 5-day weeks over 30 weeks)<br />

<strong>Courses</strong> start week beginning 15 January 2018 with only 10 places available<br />

per session.<br />

Level 3 upskilling award<br />

✓for plumbers <strong>and</strong> building maintenance workers<br />

✓national qualification (Agored Cymru)<br />

✓full-time 4-day course<br />

<strong>Training</strong> takes place Tuesday to Friday <strong>and</strong> one session will be delivered each month<br />

(subject to dem<strong>and</strong>), with only 10 places available per session.<br />

Comprehensive training<br />

In addition to theory <strong>and</strong> practical aspects of fire sprinkler installation, West College<br />

Scotl<strong>and</strong> is complementing your training with courses on awareness of Dermatitis <strong>and</strong><br />

Health & Safety working at height. The Level 3 course also covers the inspection <strong>and</strong><br />

maintenance of fire sprinkler systems.<br />
