MIRRORS
MAGIC
BY KAYITESI MAGERO
Mirrors have a magical touch, when it comes to
decorating.
You only need to play around on where to place a
mirror, otherwise it can open up a room, alter a view,
or reflect a little personality.
Place it inside a bed room
Tight spaces expand and mirrors in small rooms
create an illusion that the place is actually bigger
than it is. Try this trick by propping a large mirror on
the wall.
Hallways
Hanging a mirror in the hallway will give it an open
feeling, other than the closed small area just used for
passage.
Mirrors are not limited to certain areas. They can be
used in every room in the house, try them and you
will love the feel.
Reflective grouping in a living room
Get a plain wall painted in any other colour other
than white or cream. Then randomly group mirrors of
various shapes and sizes, featuring different frames
or borders for a collector’s look. The wall will look
amazing!
Kitchen cabinets
Mirrors on kitchen cabinets gives them an updated
look and will make your kitchen appear bigger than
real size. The kitchen will reflect light and look more
airy.
