OLD TECHNOLOGIES BUT
NEW URGENCY
The early impacts of climate change can already be
seen across the globe. Despite global greenhouse
gas mitigation efforts, many climate change impacts
will be inevitable due to past emissions. We are
all affected by climate change, but millions of
communities in the poorest countries are being the
hardest hit. Investments in environmental projects,
such as restoring mangroves and reforesting slopes,
could offer cost-effective solutions in helping the most
vulnerable communities.
