The first-ever Digiprint series by design duo flaurie & finch, The Paper Garden evokes the tranquility, 

abundance and vibrancy of a botanical garden. Creativity and experimentation are at the center of every 

flaurie & finch collection, making each and every line unpredictable, surprising and new. Each of the five 

designs were collaboratively achieved using tissue paper collage with matte medium. The motifs were 

constructed out of carefully torn tissue paper, artfully arranged into a collage. Confetti Punch was created 

by hole-punching vivid sheets of tissue paper. The colorations in the range reflect the rich brilliance and 

ethereal nature of the tissue papers. Grow your garden with sprinkles of flaurie & finch’s Darling Dots.

Adapted from abstract floral paintings and hand painted textures, Rose Hutch is perfect for those looking 

for traditional fabrics with a modern flair. The ‘Hutch’ in the name comes from the piece of furniture used 

for displaying and storing fine china. The colorations are a blend of rich delft blue and white with a hint 

of rouge and art deco jade. There’s a lot of color versatility in this 18-piece line, choose from classic blue

EVERYTHING BUT 

THE KITCHEN SINK

Adapted from vintage fabrics and feed sack prints from the 1930s and 40s, Everything but the Kitchen 

Sink has almost everything that you can think of, from florals and ditsies, to fun geometrics and 

conversationals. The first colorway indicates the reproduction color. The additional colorways are all true 

to the time period. There are a variety of darks, mediums and lights within each color family to achieve 

great shading effects. The ground shade in every print matches our solid white 9617-370. The prints can 

be used all together to create scrappy thirties style quilts like Dresden Plate, Double Wedding Ring, Trip 

Around the World, Grandmother’s Flower Garden and Yo-Yo quilts and coverlets. The mix and match 

nature of the line makes it ideal for pre-cut projects. The conversationals are perfect for baby quilts, 

crib bedding, stuffed animals, children’s dresses, rompers and bibs. RJR’s Cotton Supreme Solids, Dot 

Com, Between the Lines, Ticking Away work to expand the line even further. We have been successfully 

producing Everything but the Kitchen Sink branded collections for over 13 years. This series is among 

RJR’s most successful selling reproduction lines. Have fun perusing all the supporting projects shown in

The History: 

Many of the prints are authentic reproductions of fabrics found in 1930s quilts from the private 

collection of Mrs. Katie Highfil (1917-1987). Katie wasn’t your average homemaker. She believed in 

making everything from scratch, whether it be the food she prepared or the blanket she needed. Katie 

was a prolific sewer, making everything from socks to dresses. Many of the quilts in Katie’s collection 

were made from blocks pieced together by members of her quilting bee with initials of the makers 

embroidered on each bock.

DELIVERY IN AUGUST 

The Malam Batik collections offer a more sophisticated spin on traditional 

Indonesian batik cap designs. In designing the range, Jinny wanted to be able 

to create shaded effects as she does in her traditionally printed screen prints, so 

she created designs that could produce a more subtle blending of color. In this 

newest series, Jinny filled in the color gaps, introducing clearer blues, deep greens, 

oranges, reds, golds and browns. The result is a dazzling assemblage of brilliant 

hues shown in three distinct color groupings: Blue Ridge, Cascade, and Sunset. 

Produced in Surakarta in central Java, Indonesia, Malam Batiks are printed on the 

finest quality base cloth with a construction of 50 x 50 yarns and 110 x 90 thread 

count. The collection derives its name from a Malay and Indonesian word that is 

often used to describe wax.
