The ON STAGE event series is ready to check off your list of must-see cities and will do so while providing all the comforts of a non-competitive choral music event and the opportunities and delights of a tourist tour around local traditions, culture and history….and, yes, also around local fun. Worldwide landmark cities like Paris, Madrid, Stockholm, Prague, Amsterdam and many other first-rate destinations will be your stage and heaven for the 4-day events which will revolve around friendship concerts, touristic tours, workshops and celebration. The events are designed for all those who wish to combine their music with travelling, learning and experiencing of new destinations. BENGT OLLÉN<br />
Bengt Ollén is Sofia Vokalensemble’s founder and constant conductor. Since<br />
1995 he’s led the vocal ensemble with great passion and a never-dying<br />
enthusiasm leading them to multiple awards in prestigious choral events<br />
worldwide. Bengt Ollén has studied under Gösta Ohlin and Gunnar Eriksson<br />
at the Academy of Music and Drama in Gothenburg. He works as a teacher of<br />
choir singing at the internationally known Stockholm Musikgymnasium and<br />
has achieved great success with his choirs in competitions around the world.<br />
Bengt is regularly engaged as a guest lecturer at choir festivals, workshops<br />
and concerts, both in Sweden and internationally.<br />
EDOARDO MATERASSI<br />
Guitarist, composer, arranger and choir conductor, Edoardo Materassi is the<br />
author of many vocal and instrumental compositions frequently performed in<br />
Italy and abroad by world-known musicians. He performs an intense activity in<br />
Italy and abroad as a choir conductor and has won several national and international<br />
prizes and recorded many CDs.<br />
