“I chose to do HE at Kirklees<br />
college because I knew the<br />
facilities were of a good<br />
standard. I had already been at college<br />
for my Level 3 so I knew the tutors well<br />
and the general set up of the equine<br />
section. It was a huge plus that it was<br />
so local to me, instead of me having<br />
to go away to university. Our tutor<br />
supported us so well. Because we were<br />
a small group, we got very individual<br />
help at times which I might not have<br />
got at a university.<br />

I enjoyed every aspect of the<br />
course. It has taught me many<br />
things I didn’t know beforehand<br />
especially in the software and website<br />
development modules, which I enjoyed<br />
the most. This course has ultimately<br />
raised my confidence and has guided<br />
me down the path I wish to take. I<br />
would like to go on to do a Master’s<br />
Degree in programming science and<br />
have a career as a software developer/<br />
engineer.<br />
