November was our month of
Great Expectation in KICC, and
we trust that as you held onto and
continue to hold onto the Lord in
prayer – God will exceeded all your
expectations. We give Him all the
glory.
The KICC family is thanking God
for exceeding our expectations
as we celebrated the 20th annual
Winning Women Convention.
We want to bless the Lord for His faithfulness and His goodness. It is our
prayer that this ministry will continue to grow stronger and stronger and
make more impact; reaching more souls, helping more homes, blessing
more women, delivering more people, enlightening more minds and
bringing glory to God.
We are now in our season of Fasting and Prayer: As the prophetic word
has gone forth, this will be our Time of Visitation in the name of Jesus.
KICC BASILDON: OUTREACH EVENT
This Essex-based Branch held an outreach event in Basildon Town Centre on Saturday, 28th October
HEALTH AWARENESS
INREACH
After its 12th November service KICC
Basildon held a health awareness event for
its members. Run by Synergy Elite Health,
the event was open an opportunity to raise
awareness about general well-being and
health and for members to obtain advice
on how to take care of their health.
Resident Min Tokky Ademoyero said:
“The Health Awareness Inreach was
well-received by all who attended. KICC
members were impressed with the Bio Age
test carried out.
The Health Awareness Inreach allowed
those who attended to reflect on their own
lifestyle choices and understand how this
may affect their health.”
KICC THE LIGHTHOUSE
A.M.E.N (ACHIEVING MEN
EMPOWERING NATIONS)
CONFERENCE
In celebration of International Men’s Day,
KICC The Lighthouse invited men of all ages
on a journey of Self Discovery. This was a FREE
interactive conference where men enjoyed
the Caribbean Buffet, socialised and were
equipped to claim and celebrate their calling
as leaders, husbands and fathers. A huge
thanks to our guest speakers, who spoke on
Gods Design for Men, Overcoming Adversity,
Business, Leadership, Mental Health, Prostrate
Cancer and Parenthood to the 50 men in
attendance.
YOUTH TAKEOVER
SERVICE
The KICC The Lighthouse
Youth Ministry took over
the Service – and it was a
massive hit! It was also a great
opportunity for the youth to
‘own’ church and for the rest
of the church to see what our
students are capable of and
cheer them on.
‘THE STRUGGLE IS REAL’
KICC The Lighthouse Youth Leaders held a Panel
Discussion answering some of the big questions our
Youths had on Love, Dating, Purity & Relationships.
Youth said they felt empowered and clear on any
blurred lines.
THE PARENT OF YOUTH
DISCUSSION
Following the stabbings of three teenagers, one
fatally, on the same night not far from KICC
The Lighthouse in Enfield earlier this year. The
church decided to host an evening for all of
those concerned about the current situation.
Members, their friends and family attended
the event, led by Mervin Cato, KICC The
Lighthouse’s Youth Leader (who is also
employed by Enfield Council in Education
working with the most hardest to reach young
people in the borough).
This event was well received and gave parents
an opportunity to openly share the struggles
they are facing and receive sound advice, best
practices and support.
TESTIMONIES
GOD IS FAITHFUL
I
have
already testified of God doing the miraculous for my
husband and I. The doctors had said my chances of having
children were limited because I had only one fallopian
tube. God gave me two children in three years.
After my second child, doctors said I should not do any form
of family planning so that I could get pregnant again quickly.
However, almost three years went by and I did not get pregnant!
My husband and I went to see the doctor to complain. We went
to church. One Sunday morning Pastor Chinedu declared that
‘God has given a baby to some people here!’ I received that
word. Subsequently, I went to see the doctor and to my shock,
The moment my feet reached my gate, I could not move
because of the pain. I had to be helped into the house. That
evening I could not lie down, my family had to prop me up on
a pillow and I sat up until morning. In the morning I was taken
back to the hospital and doctors said there was a problem with
my intestines.
People of God Jesus is alive, I am standing here because He
made a way, He not only stopped the doctors from scheduling
me for more surgery, He has healed me completely and made
me whole. My child is now 13 months old.
Our God is God alone, He is a God who is merciful, kind and
faithful!
Sister V.A.
the doctor said I was already two weeks pregnant - after three
years!
In the first trimester I had terrible back pain; it made me
unable to sit or stand for long. I was constantly lying on the
floor. I had prayed all the prayers I knew and had been prayed
for but there was no relief. Then one night I rose up to pray, I
started worshipping and I felt someone walk into my room, it
was the Holy Ghost....and that was the end of that infirmity and
every other pregnancy related challenge! In fact, I enjoyed this
pregnancy more than all others.
During the tenure of the pregnancy the devil kept on telling me
that I would die. I told the devil he is an unrepentant liar. I had
a smooth delivery but the day before I was to leave the hospital
I developed terrible stomach pain. It made movement of any
kind impossible. Doctors could not find anything wrong. I was
given pain killers and the pain subsided. I was discharged and
I went home.
NOTHING MISSING NOTHING
BROKEN
I
got
married in 2013 and got pregnant that same year but
our joy was short lived as I had a miscarriage few weeks
later. This ugly trend continued. I had four miscarriages
in four years. Pastor Chinedu and mama kept saying
“Nothing missing nothing broken”.
Last year was a year of bumper release of prophecies into my
life. Pastor Matthew had said to me ‘Wait on the Lord, I can
see your handsome son. It is done’, and on another day Pastor
Chinedu said: ‘This is your year of remembrance’. I received
all prophecies and kept on trusting God.
On 5th July I had severe pains in my abdomen, I was rushed to
the hospital. After series of tests I was told I had an infection.
The pregnancy test carried out came back negative so I was
placed on very strong antibiotics tablets and injections for five
days, after which the doctor prescribed a drug to force
my menstrual cycle because I hadn’t menstruated after my last
miscarriage.
My husband and I spent a whole day looking for this drug. I was
frustrated. When I got to the last pharmacy I just heard myself
asking for a pregnancy test instead of the medication. I used the
test kit the next day just for fun. It was positive!! This was only
a week after I tested negative at the hospital! We rushed to the
clinic and the doctor was speechless. He told us to go home and
return in two weeks.
We returned to the clinic two weeks later. I had a scan and we
were amazed to hear a strong heartbeat. My baby was there all
along despite the strong antibiotics.
The delivery was smooth and yes, I gave birth to a bouncing
handsome baby boy. The God of jaw breaking miracles was with
us all the way! THIS GOD IS TOO GOOD.
Brothers and Sisters keep trusting God, your testimony is SURE!!!
direction. New ideas and new projects the Holy Spirit fill
my heart here as there is so much need and opportunities
in Nigeria. I have started a recruitment agency for the legal
sector here already.
I have learned so much already and I believe God has put me
here to learn and to take me to higher levels. I give God all the
glory. He never fails.
SUPERNATURAL OPENINGS
I
first came to KICC Prayer city for the recent 7
Sunday Nights of Glory. That night was about
Supernatural Openings. I was suffering with indecision
about my university studies. I am an international
student but my parents are permanent residents here in the
UK.
After my foundation with the University of Northampton my
parents told me they were looking for options for me to study
elsewhere because they could not afford the fees here. I did
not like the idea of going to another country, especially non
English speaking one.
When the time for enrolment came, I did not enrol. I was
about to have my visa curtailed because I am on a student
visa. However, the declarations made during the service that
night made me start to think otherwise. What really made the
difference for me was when Pastor Mathew preached about
discouragement, he said ‘there’s somebody confused’. That
was me. I wanted to stay but I had no money. Ukraine was
cheaper but I didn’t want to go, and I had already missed the
deadline for enrolment. And then I just got an email from
the University of Northampton confirming my enrolment.
Immediately I recognised the work of God, it was a miracle.
GOD WILL MAKE A WAY
I
would
image posed by model
like to share my testimony, I travelled to Nigeria on
a mission to pursue my calling and I was very sure in my
spirit that my breakthrough would happen in Nigeria, not in
London. I didn’t know how God planned to do it but I left the
UK in faith.
The Head of Finance has given me a payment plan – this is
favour! This option should not be available to international
students. I now have an opportunity to learn and get a degree
here and work to help pay my fees.
Praise be to God.
KICC PRAYER CITY
A week after I landed, things looked confusing and my plans
didn’t go as I thought - because God had other plans.
I was invited to a meeting by Fashion TV Africa, when I arrived
at their office, I realised it was actually an interview. I got the job
immediately after the interview.
I have never been so happy in a job before, I absolutely love it
here! So far I have been in meetings with notable people in the
country and I’m currently in the HR and Management Dept of
Fashion TV Africa. The people I meet daily are people who would
definitely be blessings to put my personal businesses in the right
