Due to the nature of our business all website bookings are provisional until confirmed by us. We ask you for your<br />

preferred seating allocation during the booking process and will confirm your seat numbers<br />

after you have booked. We shall try to meet your seating requirements where possible, but<br />

cannot guarantee this.<br />

Entrance tickets not included unless stated. All seats are sold on a first come, first served basis. We allocate seats on our excursions which will be honoured wherever<br />

possible. However, we reserve the right to change your seat should circumstances deem necessary. We will make every effort to carry out the programme and<br />

itineraries as advertised, but must reserve the right to cancel any excursion or alter routes, timings or stopping places without prior notice due to circumstances beyond<br />

our control.<br />

Cancellations & Refunds. If we are forced to cancel any excursion, a full refund will be made. In the event of a customer cancelling we shall apply charges in line with<br />

the scale below. Tickets cannot be transferred to future trips.<br />

More than 28 days notice - Full refund, 14 to 28 days notice - Less 25%, 7 to 13 days notice - Less 50%, Less than 7 days notice - No refund.<br />

For the vast majority of trips we aim to stay at the destination for around 4 ½ hours. We may have to alter timings if<br />

Housed in Claverton Manor on the edge of Bath, this popular museum has lovely<br />

Friday 8th Nymans – National Trust ROUTE A<br />

In the late 19th century the creative Messel family bought the Nymans estate in the<br />

Sussex High Weald with the intention of making a dream country house. They created<br />

one of the country's great gardens with experimental designs and plants from around<br />

the world. Nymans became a garden lovers' home, a place where the Messels<br />

entertained family and friends, relaxed in the garden, picnicked and walked in the<br />

woods. Partially destroyed by fire in 1947, the house and ruins sit within a romantic and<br />

picturesque setting. Nymans is the perfect place to relax, stroll in the garden and enjoy<br />

Lord Faringdon. Built in the Italianate country houses style between 1780 and 1783, the<br />

estate has a fascinating history which has left the estate with a remarkable legacy. There<br />

is a variety of attractions - from formal gardens to woodlands. There are plenty of lovely<br />

viewpoints and a selection of architectural sculptures adds interest to your visit. Don't<br />

miss the stunning water gardens designed by Harold Peto. The house does not<br />

disappoint and houses the wonderful Faringdon Collection of fine paintings and furniture<br />

collected over a century. With paintings by Rembrandt, Reynolds, Rubens, van Dyck and<br />

Murillo and furniture by Robert Adams this is now a very important collection of works.<br />
