How to have a Successful Marriage
Genesis 2: 22 – 25

1) A marriage is much more than the day of wedding.
2) Practice cleaning up after yourself.
3) You will never have it all.
4) Man may be the head but he is not the mind- Jesus is the
mind.
5) Practice letting go of things quickly.
6) Practice doing things together.
7) Always looks for small hints.
8) Take control.
9) Pay attention.
10) Don’t wait on a special occasion to celebrate.
Favoured Beyond Recognition
Mark 6: 1-16

1) Make sure you are producing the fruit of the Christian.
2) Being around people with faults shows how much we
really are like God.
3) Your works will call great men to remembrance.
4) You will be associated with great men. Although they
mistake your identity, your greatness will not be mistaken
5) Your faith will validate those who are lost.
6) Those who refuse to glorify God on your behalf- they will
start talking about you.
7) Your presence will start bringing conviction to murders
8) Desert places can stop the refreshing flow of God’s
compassion in your life.
9) Testimony of remains will always be attached to whatever
you bless.
10) Those who once ridiculed you, will crave a touch from
you.
11) There is an appointment time for everything. Remember
God is in control.
The Plan of God (The Script)
Roman 8:29-34

1) God will make sure his word is protected. He guides you
into his word, into your destiny.
2) In the process of being chosen, there is a script you must
follow.
3) Don’t be discouraged, it’s a script and you are the star.
4) Everything God has promised in his word, He will
preserve you.
5) The Script is the record of your life. However, there is a
manuscript written by God to direct you.
6) Your mind is conditioned based on continuous practice.
Practice following the script.
7) Follow the Script in every area of your life: marriage,
relationships, finances and work.
Assessing Your Spiritual Eyes
2 Kings 6: 13- 7

1) Our own interest can block our vision. Trusting God is
about using the spiritual eye completely - Mind of the
Spirit. Mind and the eye are connected.
2) Natural eye get us in trouble- Keeping your mind on God
so that it can keep your eye on the things of God.
3) Seeing things with the natural eye- look internally to see
what the spirit man is seeing. We get much more
accomplished when we look through the lenses of the
spiritual man. Man saying, “No” is an ability for God to
say yes.
4) Tap into that spirit of discernment - sometimes
we rebel against the inner man because we refuse to tap in.
Exercise faith, seek God in the spirit through the eyes of
faith.
5) Peter had enough faith to get out of the boat – despite
what might happen. Keep our eyes on Jesus. Even when
we are told no… But God is a God of the impossible.
6) We serve a big God. God is bigger than any mountain.
Hold unto God’s unchanging hand.
7) Anything that is stagnant God is not in it.
The Importance of Renewing your mind
Matt 24:35 & Romans 12: 1-2

1) Continue renewing our mind. Don’t return to our old
habits but stand firm in the word.
2) Use the word as a filter to conduct our conversations and
your every thought. Apply the word of God to our lives
and conduct ourselves accordingly.
3) Watch the thoughts you engage, use the word of God to
block ungodly thoughts. Taking heed to the word of God.
Are you living a life that is pleasing to God?
4) Totally eradicate our own sinful nature and transform to
the things of God and do not conform to the things of
this world.
5) Transformation in your faculty by ensuring your soul is
subjected to the word- practice dying daily.
6) Heart like thine- sanctifications all over. Ensure you
maintain that area of your mind in God. Work out, live
out.
7) Maintain a quality of my mind. Remember it is with the
mind that you serve God. Your mind is the most valuable
asset.
