Welcome
The Holy Remnant Apostolic Church
T
he Holy Remnant Apostolic Church is a place known for its’ strong
biblical standard. It’s a place where biblical principles are magnified
and the love of God is exercised. A church destined to change the
lives of everyone that comes through its’ doors. The leaders are
doing their best to make sure that the people are led in a godly path.
In the area of Malton (Mississauga), this church
has a reputation of being the real deal. What does
that mean exactly? Well, it is founded upon the
birth, death, burial, resurrection and ascension of
our Lord Jesus Christ. If the church’s foundation
is biblical, then the outcome is nothing short of
miraculous. It is not strange to see miracles in the
sanctuary, but what’s most rewarding, is the fact
that so many souls are being changed through
this ministry. Many people have asked our
leaders what have you done to make your church
grow so fast? They’ve often replied we can take
no accolades for the growth of Gods’ church; all
we’ve done is live a clean life before God. It was
never necessary to do anything other than teach and preach the word of God faithfully;
after all we don’t know another method. When you consider that this organization began
with 12 people in a prayer meeting in November 2006 in the basement of Senior Pastor
Rev. Dr. Williams’ house; it makes you wonder if this type of growth is even possible.
Not only is it possible but it’s just a hint of what God has promised and you know that
whatsoever the Lord has spoken shall be brought to pass.
Still not convinced? Why don’t you stop by sometime and see what the Lord has in store
for you.
How to have a Successful Marriage
Genesis 2: 22 – 25
Minister Thompson
Successful Relationship (Valuable + Anointing –
Waiting upon the Lord)
1) A marriage is much more than the day of wedding.
2) Practice cleaning up after yourself.
3) You will never have it all.
4) Man may be the head but he is not the mind- Jesus is the
mind.
5) Practice letting go of things quickly.
6) Practice doing things together.
7) Always looks for small hints.
8) Take control.
9) Pay attention.
10) Don’t wait on a special occasion to celebrate.
Favoured Beyond Recognition
Mark 6: 1-16
Rev. J Ledgister
1) Make sure you are producing the fruit of the Christian.
2) Being around people with faults shows how much we
really are like God.
3) Your works will call great men to remembrance.
4) You will be associated with great men. Although they
mistake your identity, your greatness will not be mistaken
5) Your faith will validate those who are lost.
6) Those who refuse to glorify God on your behalf- they will
start talking about you.
7) Your presence will start bringing conviction to murders
8) Desert places can stop the refreshing flow of God’s
compassion in your life.
9) Testimony of remains will always be attached to whatever
you bless.
10) Those who once ridiculed you, will crave a touch from
you.
11) There is an appointment time for everything. Remember
God is in control.
The Plan of God (The Script)
Roman 8:29-34
Minister Lindsay
1) God will make sure his word is protected. He guides you
into his word, into your destiny.
2) In the process of being chosen, there is a script you must
follow.
3) Don’t be discouraged, it’s a script and you are the star.
4) Everything God has promised in his word, He will
preserve you.
5) The Script is the record of your life. However, there is a
manuscript written by God to direct you.
6) Your mind is conditioned based on continuous practice.
Practice following the script.
7) Follow the Script in every area of your life: marriage,
relationships, finances and work.
Assessing Your Spiritual Eyes
2 Kings 6: 13- 7
Minister Hall
1) Our own interest can block our vision. Trusting God is
about using the spiritual eye completely - Mind of the
Spirit. Mind and the eye are connected.
2) Natural eye get us in trouble- Keeping your mind on God
so that it can keep your eye on the things of God.
3) Seeing things with the natural eye- look internally to see
what the spirit man is seeing. We get much more
accomplished when we look through the lenses of the
spiritual man. Man saying, “No” is an ability for God to
say yes.
4) Tap into that spirit of discernment - sometimes
we rebel against the inner man because we refuse to tap in.
Exercise faith, seek God in the spirit through the eyes of
faith.
5) Peter had enough faith to get out of the boat – despite
what might happen. Keep our eyes on Jesus. Even when
we are told no… But God is a God of the impossible.
6) We serve a big God. God is bigger than any mountain.
Hold unto God’s unchanging hand.
7) Anything that is stagnant God is not in it.
The Importance of Renewing your mind
Matt 24:35 & Romans 12: 1-2
Minister James
1) Continue renewing our mind. Don’t return to our old
habits but stand firm in the word.
2) Use the word as a filter to conduct our conversations and
your every thought. Apply the word of God to our lives
and conduct ourselves accordingly.
3) Watch the thoughts you engage, use the word of God to
block ungodly thoughts. Taking heed to the word of God.
Are you living a life that is pleasing to God?
4) Totally eradicate our own sinful nature and transform to
the things of God and do not conform to the things of
this world.
5) Transformation in your faculty by ensuring your soul is
subjected to the word- practice dying daily.
6) Heart like thine- sanctifications all over. Ensure you
maintain that area of your mind in God. Work out, live
out.
7) Maintain a quality of my mind. Remember it is with the
mind that you serve God. Your mind is the most valuable
asset.
Isaac and Rodale Barrett
Do you know what the most difficult thing about
getting married young is? Society's reaction. When
considering to marry young, some of the feedback
from society could be, "You are too young", "You are missing
out", "You are making a mistake" "Are you pregnant?" and
"Why are you rushing?" Getting married at a young age can be
quite daunting, if you are in it for the wrong reasons. Most of
our peers see marriage as a set back at a young age and would
prefer to be out and about with friends partying and just living
the "good life".
Our Marriage Redefined
The road we have chosen to take is surprisingly not what
modern day society would expect from a young couple. As a
Christian couple, we have redefined what a young marriage is
capable of in our generation. The truth is, waiting on God
spares us from heartache, loss and pain. God has a spouse
uniquely designed for each of us and when the time is right, he
will reveal him/her.
Getting married young doesn't mean you cannot have a good
life. It doesn't mean life stops there. It doesn't mean you can no
longer have any friends. It doesn't mean you stop having fun. It
doesn't mean you cannot be successful in ministry. It doesn't
mean that you stop being yourself. Knowing who you are and
embracing your true self is vital in a marriage. As a couple, we
pray together, we take vacations, we have a date night
(Dinner/movie), as well as enjoy individually fulfilling activities.
An example, my partner enjoys
flying and I enjoy sightseeing
flights too. While he would do
it daily, once in a while works
for me.
A major misconception of
getting married young is that it
hinders success. This is not
true as a marriage should not dictate success rather, it is the
individual's mind-set and determination that does. As a young
couple, we both have our careers and businesses.
Prayer
Prayer is a core part of the Christian life; naturally, it should
extend to our most intimate relationship - marriage. One author
and theologian, Henri Nouwen says: “a spiritual life without
prayer is like the gospel without Christ.”
A solid foundation is necessary for a successful and Godly
marriage! For us as a young couple it was necessary to build a
foundation on biblical principles, friendship as well as
individual family values (honesty, trust, discipline). Friendship is
very important as marriage is not just about intimacy, but about
relationship. We were friends for seven years before we got
married and we continued our friendship into marriage. Before
marriage, courtship was also necessary as it went hand in hand
with our friendship.
We then had premarital counseling for six months prior to
marriage, which was very important! Premarital counseling is
very important for all couples, not just young couples.
Marriage is probably one of the biggest leaps of faith you will
ever make. The reality is, you will never be able to map it out
on a spread sheet; it just doesn't work that way. A marriage is a
real life experience. As a young couple, we do have differences
and disagreements within our marriage. However, with
communication and the right attitude they are usually easily
resolved.
Like any healthy relationship, a good marriage requires work.
No matter how compatible a couple may be or how in love they
feel, there will be times when unforeseen challenges arise, and it
is then that the true foundation of a marriage is revealed. Love
is more than a feeling, it is more than the butterflies in your
stomach. Instead, love is a lifelong commitment. Love is facing
obstacles together, leaning on Christ together and learning to
lean on one another when things seem unbearable.
Love is NOT sex. Another
common mistake our
generation makes, is getting
married for sex/lust. Marriage
was not ordained solely for
sex and it is critical to
understand this, as to not
misplace the true focus of
marriage according to the scripture. As a young couple we did
not pursue marriage as a way to justify our physical and sexual
desire. We pursued marriage as it was pleasing in God's sight.
Marriage is not 50/50 - Give 100 percent to your spouse and
beautiful things will follow. If you are married, let Christ and
prayer be the head of your marriage. If you are still waiting, the
same rule applies.
Husbands are to love and sacrifice, wives are
to submit: Ephesians 5:23-3
Husbands and wives are different yet equal:
1 Peter 3:1-5, 7
The purpose of marriage is to grow together
in holiness: 1 Corinthians 7:1-2
n the book of 1 Chronicles 11:22 the bible
makes mention of Benaiah, one of King
David's mighty warriors. The scripture
highlights that it was a very cold and snowy day,
when Benaiah encountered a fierce lion. The
lion was out hunting for food and was out of
luck, with all the animals seeking shelter from
the snow. When the lion saw Benaiah, he locked
eyes with him as though he had seen his arch
nemesis.
The lion opened his mouth, revealing his teeth
likened to that of a spear's edge. The gravel that
fell from his mouth quickly harmonized with the
snow. He flexed all his muscles like a man who
had just awakened his strength from a full
workout at the gym. All signs were pointing to
Benaiah being in serious trouble, everything
about this lion suggested Benaiah's defeat.
Even though Benaiah seemed a bit surprised at
first, he was sobered by fact that he was in the
territory known as the Lion's table. Benaiah was
in an unavoidable position because he had
chased a ram earlier, which he wounded with an
arrow as he hunted his night's dinner. Thoughts
and flashes galloped through Benaiah's mind
about his wife and kids at home. He was driven
by the fact that his father was killed in a battle
with the Philistines when Benaiah was only 2
years old. Sobered from watching his mother
struggle as he grew, Benaiah had sworn to
always provide and protect his family.
All of a sudden Benaiah snapped out of his daze
and the fear subsided. He slowly let down the
ram off his shoulder, gripped his spear that was
covered in the blood of the ram. Benaiah
squared up with the lion and the stare down
began. Just when you thought that Benaiah
would crack, the unthinkable happened. The
lion turned and began to run away from Benaiah
eventually, falling into a pit that was covered by
snow. Although the lion was not greatly hurt, it
was far from delivered because it was now stuck
in a pit.
Benaiah was now standing at the edge of the pit,
staring down on this lion and eventually walked
away. 'I'll be ok now' the Lion surely thought
but in that split second, Benaiah flew through
the air with the intensity of a whirlwind as he
jumped into pit.
Screams and roars could be heard from the pit
and this continued for a few minutes! Suddenly
there was silence.
Then there was the glimpse of a hand as
Benaiah climbed out of the pit. The lion was not
only dead but headless. Benaiah was not willing
to take any chances so he would rather take a
souvenir.
There are many things you can take away
from this story. However, it is integral that
you notice this - you can win in spite of your
existing circumstances and the battles that
are raging within! You can also win if you are
hungry enough to fulfill your life's promises,
plans and purpose.
Deacon K. Campbell
Matthew 4:4 'It is written man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word
that proceeedeth out of the mouth of God.' It is very imperative to put the word
of God in action, in James 1:22 tells us 'But be ye doers of the word and not
hearers only, deceiving your own selves.'
____
One can easily say that it's easier said than done; but as we engage in
a daily fight with the flesh, David gave us the answer. Psalm 119:11,
'Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.'
_____
I
came from a Christian
background, growing up I
had no other choice but to
go to church. As a child,
attending church and Sunday
school helped me to develop a
fear of God. I told myself then, I
would do everything it takes to
make it into heaven because of
the fear of burning in hell. I
promised my mom that I would
get baptized which I did at the
age of 12. I became very
involved in church and that had
helped me to stay focused for a
while. Overtime however, I
became distracted after walking
with the Lord for 7 years; I
stepped away from the faith for 8
years. As old people would say, 'I
came back to my sense' and
genuinely recommitted my life to
the Lord.
I can honestly say after so many
years, I was fully converted about
3 years ago. That is when I really
got to know the word of God
and became mature in it, which
is still keeping me saved today.
The bible says in
Everything we need to live an accomplished and successful life is found in the
word of God. Prayer is a great source of strength that keeps me standing. Jesus
told the disciples, 'Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit
indeed is willing but the flesh is weak '-Matthew 26:41. Fasting on a regular basis
is another source of strength for me. I believe every child of God should fast and
seek the face of God. Another key tool that keeps me saved is identifying my
weaknesses. Once I have identified it, I pray and ask God to help me overcome
them daily.
I truly thank God for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this body of
Christ-The Holy Remnant Apostolic Church. It is a great privilege to be a part of
such a powerful ministry, where the word of God is so profound and the move
of the Holy Spirit is always evident; a house that every child of God can grow
spiritually.
1. Fear God
'Thou shall have no other gods before me'-Exodus 20:3
2. Know the Word of God
'It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that
proceedeth out of the mouth of God' –Matthew 4:4
3. Live by the word
'But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own self'-James
1:22
4. Prayer and fasting
'Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation, the spirit is willing but the
flesh is weak.' –Matthew 26:41
'And he said unto them, this kind can come forth by nothing but fasting and
prayer.'-Mark 9:29
5. Walk in the spirit
'This I say then, walk in the spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.' –
Galatians 5:16
Friendships are a dynamic and ever evolving aspect of life. A continuous
exchange, whether positive or negative which takes place between
individuals within every friendship. The way in which we deal with
friends often reflect our own morals and character. However, it is up to
each individual to set standards for themselves on how they manage their
friendships.
Realizing all of this, the most crucial and impressionable period of one's life is,
during our adolescent years and friendships play a key role in shaping our
perceptions. In recent discussion with our THRAC youth on the topic of
friendship, some key points were raised in regards to how they manage their
friendships and the influence that they have.
1. The foundation of a good friendship is trust and
communication.
Like every relationship, establishing good grounds of trust and
open communication leaves room for growth as individuals and
collectively.
2. When conflict arise, the best way to deal with it is to speak
with that individual directly.
It's always best to deal with your friend first regarding the issue
because it maintains a level of trust and communication - not
doing so only makes the situation more complicated.
3. Relationships have boundaries.
Boundaries are important because this is where each individual
establishes their morals and standards. Respect for each other's
boundaries will not cause either person to want to negatively
influence the one another.
It is important to note that when asked, all the THRAC youth expressed that
there is an understanding and respect amongst their friends for their faith and
their stand when it comes to serving God. Although there is open
communication and respect for their faith in God, there are points when the
environment or the choices of their friends pose as temptations to conform.
It's never easy to resist
temptation however, knowing
who they are as individuals and
knowing the right thing causes
them to not want to give in and
conform.
'Show me your company and
I will tell you who you are.'
Every relationship that we have
has an influence on us as an
individual. Often times our
friends are a mere reflections of
who we are in regards to our
mindset, morals and character.
As previously mentioned,
friendships are an exchange of
positive and negative influences.
1 Corinthians 15:33 (NKJV)
says " Do not be deceived: Evil
company corrupts good habits.”
The bible clearly outlines that
negative influences corrupts
those with good character.
Friends that are a negative
influence whether in their
choices, ideas, and morals are
not easy to recognize and leave
the opportunity for our youth to
be influenced negatively. The
youth are striving to make a
positive influence on their
friends, and know when it's time
to draw away to protect
themselves from negativity. Our
encouragement to our youth
is to choose those who they
call friends wisely.
Proverbs 13:20 (NKJV)
"He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will be
destroyed."
Prayer Team
T
he prayer team is consistent of 6 members:
Aneisha, CJ, Jeremy, Shackoya, Samantha
and Shanice. We have been a team for over
6 years of which we've had many challenges, but
by the grace of God we overcame.
For us prayer is not just a way of communicating
with God, but it is also a way of interceding for
others and connecting to the solution source to all
problems. If we could define prayer it would be a
request for help and an expression of thanks
addressed to God.
For most people, prayer can be very difficult
especially if it’s not something you practice.
However, some of the ways in which you can have
a more effective prayer life is by:
1. Spending time in the word
2. Praying at the same time or a set time
every day to develop a routine
3. Pray often
4. Fasting
5. Surround yourself with praying people
6. And most importantly, after prayer take
time on your knees in silence to hear
what God is saying.
Most people forget that prayer is a two way
communication and after making your request you
need to hear what God is saying, always remember
to give thanks and pray without ceasing.
The billows will roll, the thunder will sound, you know I'll
calm the storms
Just Keep on My Child
The road will be long even rocky at times
Watch for detour signs yet, keep on the narrow path do as I
say and you will see the mansion bright not just that but I
wipe away your tears
Take away death, sorrows, pain, the former things will pass
Just Keep on My Child
Don't be discouraged when man turns against you, use you
and abuse you, did I forget?
Even your parents will forsake you I say,
Keep on My Child
I called you alone, stop trying to roll with the crowd
the glamour and the fame it's only a game.
Keep on My Child
I give you the whole armour wear it with care, there is no
need to fear
I am with you and will never leave.
Just Keep on My Child
I love you before you were created
I love you now and I will love you forever more, just
Keep on My Child
Don't give up the fight, this race is not for the swift neither
is the battle for the strong
Just Keep on My Child
Know that the weapons of this warfare are not carnal, it is
strong and mighty to the pulling down of strongholds just
Keep on My Child.
Flesh and blood has no inheritance in my kingdom, so
I'm waiting on you my child
What will it take for you to love me, I gave it all for you. I
was wounded for your transgressions, bruised for your
iniquity and by my stripes you have received healing.
Don't be ungrateful my child
I am the Alpha and Omega, Beginning and the End; I hold
the world in my hand.
I destroyed it once and I am coming again.
Keep on My Child
Be ye holy, without spot without wrinkle and you will hear
Well Done My Child
What is FAITH? According to the Meridian-Webster dictionary it is, among other
things, a) “belief and trust in and loyalty to God” b) “firm belief in
something for which there is no proof”. Hebrews 11:1 says, “Now faith is
the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
As a new believer, faith in God proved to be my biggest and most difficult
struggle. I knew it was possible to have great faith in God because the Word
said so (Matthew 14:22-33), but how do I get there? Does it depend on how
long you have been serving God? If I had to describe myself, I would say
this – “If one plus one equals two, then two minus one must equal one”.
Very logical, right? Sadly for me, God is not logical! So how do I reconcile
my logical mind to the mind of a God who is anything but logical?
I was afraid, very afraid because I didn’t know how I was going to get there.
I struggled a lot because I wanted to have great faith in God but my
seemingly logical mind and character were at complete odds with this
phenomenon.
I’m also the kind of person who likes to see the end result before
commencing any undertaking. I look as far ahead as I possibly can and ask
myself, “Is it worth it?” and if it is, I roll back to the present and begin the
journey. Good Lord! That doesn’t work with the Christian way of life! You
don’t know the road ahead. You have to trust God. “For we walk by faith
not by sight.”(2 Corinthians 5:7) What! This was just not going to work for
me! Truthfully speaking, I would almost say that I had more faith in God
before I became a child of God than afterwards. Generally speaking, I’ve
always believed that God could do anything…but trusting him to order my
life? Trusting Him to lead me through the unknown to the unknown? I can’t
do it. I can’t do it. Hebrews 11:6 says “Without faith it is impossible to
please God.” But I want to please God, surely.
How did I get to this new place of Faith where I am today? Through the
Word. Sounds simple, right? But it is the only way. I fed on the Word
constantly. I meditated on the Word. I prayed. I fasted. I asked the Holy
Spirit to teach me and to lead me…and bit by bit, little by little He led me
to this place. There were times when I just had to step out blindly. Then I
had an encounter with the Holy Spirit where He asked me, “How come you
know how much you mean to your earthly father, but you don’t know how
much you mean to your heavenly Father?” (That’s a whole other article right
there!) I used to worry about everything. But now He has taught me and is
still teaching me to take Him at His Word and just take that step. He taught
me that every promise and every covenant in His Word belongs to me also.
I never truly accepted that. I would believe God for others, but not for
myself.
There’s no such thing people! Galatians 3:7 says, “Know ye therefore that
they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham”, and verse 9
says, “So then they which be of faith
are blessed with faithful Abraham.”
Put that together with Genesis 12:1-
3 which says, "Now the Lord had
said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy
country, and from thy kindred, and
from thy father's house, unto a land
that I will shew thee:”; “And I will
make of thee a great nation, and I
will bless thee, and make thy name
great; and thou shalt be a blessing:”;
“And I will bless them that bless
thee, and curse him that curseth
thee: and in thee shall all families of
the earth be blessed.” Now add
Genesis 17:7, “And I will establish
my covenant between me and thee
and thy seed after thee in their
generations for an everlasting
covenant, to be a God unto thee, and
to thy seed after thee.” I finally got
to the place where I accepted these
verses as talking directly to me.
Thank you Holy Spirit!
Someone sent me this quote, “When
God leads you to the edge of the
cliff, trust Him fully, because only
two things can happen, either He will
catch you when you fall, or He'll
teach you how to fly.”
You know what comes with new
levels of Faith? New and bigger
challenges! I’m going through a
HUGE test right now; but the Word
that keeps me through the day is
“…lean not unto thine own
understanding” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Remember: Your faith in God moves
God to act in your favour. I will say
like the Psalmist said, “I shall not
die, but live, and declare the works
of the LORD” (Psalm 118:17).
"Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy,
like art… It has no survival value; rather it is one
of those things that give value to survival?
CS Lewis
I agree with CS Lewis that friendship adds value to life because it does in fact add great value.
Friendship allows companionship and introduces relationships in all aspects of life. But is
friendship necessary for survival? If one does not have friends will he/she not survive?
It is important to understand the correlation between friendship and relationship. Having a
relationship with someone does not necessarily mean you have a friendship with that
individual, neither does having a genuinely healthy relationship require friendship. Having a
great relationship with someone can form a friendship but having a good relationship with
someone doesn't mean they should automatically become friends; that's a slippery slope. If one
believes that having friendships is a requirement for survival then how would he/she explain
the life span of a hermit?
I have a relationship with my boss however, we do not have a friendship. So then
are friendships necessary for survival? No, but relationships are. I agree with CS Lewis' claim
that friendship is not necessarily required however, it does add value. Can we live life without
friendships? Of course, having friends may make life more meaningful or add value like CS
Lewis claims. It may even increase one’s life span as having friendships may add joy, laughter
and happiness all of which adds value to life but I don't believe it is completely necessary,
hence having no survival value. I don't believe anyone dies because of a lack of friendships;
having genuine relationships is more important than having friendships.
Camilla Dwyer
My fundamental thought – “If you don’t have friends you learn to live without them.” It means you become fully accountable
for the decisions you make and hence eliminating influential pressures. What happens now when you continuously fall short
and life’s miseries overtake you due to poor judgements? A “God Authenticated Friendship” can be fruitful and essentially
address your shortcomings, which I believe we should all seek as children of God. I believe we as humans don’t need many
friends to survive in this life and that the ONE friendship divinely ordained by God is sufficient – This belief is contrary to the
belief of many. The aim is to seek God for guidance and ask him to position an individual in your life that will bring value to
your life and set loyalty as the foundation of the friendship. In fact, a soul connection to your friend is vital similar to that of
David and Jonathan’s friendship. The Bible says the soul of Jonathan was knit to the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as
his soul and ultimately made a covenant with him. It’s important that we are joined to the soul of our friend(s) as well, where
the “heart of Christ” is always active. A true and loyal friend is honest, unbiased and will stand with you for eternity.
Another perspective of how friendships exist not as a necessity to humans, but can add value to your survival lies in the story
of Job. Job’s friends should have been comforting him through his trials, but they became bad advisers and friends.
Nonetheless, they had him talking hence he was able to defend himself and his God. The fact that Job was able to converse
with his friends brought confirmation about who they are and in whom his faith resides – God!
Most of us can relate to the friendships between Job and his four friends, Eliphaz, Bildad, Zohar, and Elihu. In their
discussions with Job, they applied reasoning, estimations and supposed truth to question Job’s standing with God. Their
existence truly added value to Job’s life because no matter how they interrogated him and furthermore determined his
punishment, his faith didn’t waver and was ultimately rewarded by God.
Some friendships are conditional and based on a series of events in our life. When life’s at its worse you’ll realize their opinions
of you differ from those when life’s at its best. It is true today that many friendships are pointless to your survival, you can
testify they were formed to build you into a tower of power that you’ve become. Some of the values learned from your friends
are priceless!
Israel and the unexpected new world order. Brian Schrauger
The Jerusalem Post
The new world order is the establishment of
one government and currency. With our
focus on the new world order in previous
sermons, there are global affairs that coincide with
the signs of end times in the word of God. Christ
warned us that these signs must happen but we
shouldn't worry because the believers' redemption is
coming.
The foundation of the new world order is on the
basis of an economic world order. As featured in the
Jerusalem Post, author Brian Schrauger highlights
that there are economic changes happening with
global superpowers while, the Western world is
consistently distracted by politics and global
leadership. Over the past few years, there have been
many changes on the global front from Russia
moving into Syria to radical Islam happening
throughout the world. With all these things
happening Russia, China and India are now the up
and coming global superpowers. This article brings
attention to the fact the Jewish state, Israel is making
large deals on an international level with such
powers like Russia, Turkey, and China.
June 16, 2009 marks the beginning of the movement
towards a new world order. Brazil, Russia, India and
China (BRIC) began discussing ways to reflect
changes in the world's economy. With the addition
of South Africa to BRIC, these nations are working
rapidly to achieve their goal of global economic
dominance.
BRICS has since had strong economic growth with
many ventures such as establishing an international
bank called New Development Bank, with the sole
purpose of financing public and private
infrastructure projects for its member states.
Coinciding with the BRICS economic goal for global
power, China has initiated the Belt and Road
infrastructure initiative that would link more than 60
countries across Asia, Africa and Europe for the
purpose of global trade. This project will take
approximately $7.5 trillion to develop. With this lofty
endeavour it’s a risk to the global banking system but
will have a tremendous return on the investments
made globally. However, the risk associated to these
two initiatives can cause a global economy collapse
which would be an opportunity for the global
powers to start fresh and introduce a one world
currency. With Bitcoin, an online currency it's safe to
presume that it would be the currency used in the
new world order.
So how does BRICS and the Belt & Road initiative
relate to Israel? Firstly, Israel has the ability to be the
leading provider of gas and oil to Europe via a direct
pipeline to Europe cutting Russia out of the market.
This move affects the initiative of BRICS because it's
now affecting the GDP of Russia. Secondly, the Belt
& Road Initiative can be promising for Israel's
international trade which, would in turn be more
time & cost effective than the current shipping route
via Egypt. Finally, Israel is one of the leading
countries in cyber security which would play a vital
role in the utilization of a one world virtual currency
via Bitcoin. Regardless, Israel looks to gain from
both these global ventures.
With all this being said, we as children of God are
not to get caught up with a false sense of security
and the hope that the new world order is aiming to
fulfill. The true purpose of all these economic and
political changes are to fulfill God's word. God
warns us that during these perilous times, people will
begin to be lovers of everything except Christ and
others. "But he that shall endure unto the end, the
same shall be saved."- Matthew 24:13. We as
believers know that the world around us is changing
for the worst quite rapidly but we need to remain
steadfast in our commitment to Christ. Only with
God's help and strength are we able to see His
promises come to fruition after our redemption. The
new world order is just the beginning of the perilous
times "and when these things begin to come to pass,
then look up, and lift up your heads; for your
redemption draweth nigh."- Luke 21:28.
